Sinister Intentions

Mister Sinister was a very devious person.

Everyone in the Marvel Universe knew that and he was always a high priority for Superhero's whenever he reared his head.

Unfortunately, he was so easily able to go underground that it was damn near impossible to actually keep an eye on him, until whenever he decided to make himself known again.

Now that he had the thing that he was sure would bring about the X-Men's downfall, it was time to make his move.

He'd spent many years quietly perfecting what he was certain was strain of a virus that would destroy the X-Men.

This wasn't any kind of regular virus, however.

He knew the X-Men's greatest weakness, so he decided to design something that could truly exploit the X-men's greatest weakness: sex.

The X-men were legendary for their seemingly endless romantic entanglements, both with each other and with various heroes (and even villains).

It was the one thing that truly kept getting each and every one of them in trouble, which made it perfect for exploitation.

In the case of this virus (which he had named Virus X), it heighten people's arousal to intense levels, which mean that it wouldn't take too long before the X-Men would be too busy fucking like rabbits to actually bother him.

If he really got lucky, it would spread to others in the hero community and probably more than a few villains (which would get them out of his hair as well).

As someone obsessed with genetics, he wasn't unaware of the possibility that this could lead to some interesting outcomes.

What really intrigued him was that he had multiple options for initial infection as well, as well, perhaps infecting one and letting it slowly spread would work, after all they'd probably not notice much until it was too late.

The other option was a more sledgehammer like approach: Make the initial infections airborne and let whoever gets hit go hog wild.

He'd probably need someone else for that, but there were probably plenty of people who would sell out the team as long as it meant they could fuck their crush.

At the end of the day, he could either infect one with a stronger virus and let it slowly take over or hit many with a weaker version.

Both strains had their pros and cons, now it was just a matter of figuring out which one he'd rather use.
