The Games were in danger of being cancelled due to one of the biggest sponsors quitting after several scandals and on top of that, no city was willing to invest in the Games. Worldwide athletes, who had prepared for a long time for those games, held their breath. Then, just a week later, it was announced that a new company had stepped up and was willing to invest a lot of money into the games.

SinTech, a mysterious company, was not only offering to pay a lot of money but also to provide the facilities for the Games. There wasn't much information about the company, but it was said that they wanted to use the games as an opportunity to promote their products and brands.
