Pokemusu chronicles

Hello there. Welcome to this world, dear traveller.

My name is not really important; I'm just the storyteller who will guide you through the stories of this world.

This world is filled with a mysterious energy called mana. It represents the flow of life and can be found everywhere. Mana can be used to do many things by using it as a fuel for magic.

Thanks to this power, many different creatures inhabit this world. First of all, there are humans, the most populous species in the world. They are not naturally adept at using mana, but they are very adaptable and are able to learn how to use every type of mana.

Then there are the pokemusus, mysterious humanoid and intelligent creatures that are closely connected with nature and are natural at using certain types of magic. "Pokemusu" is just a term used to summarize countless species, and they can be found anywhere: in forests, deserts, mountains, and even in the sea. Some of them even have societies of their own.

Contact between humans and pokemusu was not great for most of history, mostly because pokemusu needed humans in order to breed, since most species of pokemusu are female-only. Some species lived side by side with humans, but everything really changed when a few brave "adventurers" started writing entries about pokemusus to make them better known to the public, like the legendary explorer Terrance Rainer. Thanks to this, both sides took big steps toward living together.

Seventy years after the end of this research, more races of pokegirls have become used to living with humans, and they have even started to build small cities together in order to coexist.

But we are not here just to talk about the world. We are here to tell the stories of heroes who appeared in this world to battle the threats that now put it in danger.
