New Mage

Jake nervously entered the vast marble halls of the Magic Academy. He had just turned 20 and completed the orientation; now it was time for his testing.

"Hi, you must be Jake," A beautiful woman with long, glossy black hair stepped towards him, extending her hand. "I'm Alaina, one of the instructors here at the Academy. I'll be testing you today." Jake gingerly shook her hand, lingering a bit too long to brush against her soft slender fingers. If Alaina took notice, she didn't give any indication. "Every mage is proficient in one stream of magic, whether Fire, Water, Light, etc... " Alaina explained. "It is possible for advanced mages to learn more than one type of magic, but their main strength remains in the one they are naturally talented in. Today, we will test where your talent lies."

Jake nodded, having already learned this information during the orientation. "What is your talent?" He asked as he followed Alaina into the small testing room. He couldn't help staring at her backside; even beneath her long flowing robes, he could tell she had some nice curves.

"I'm a lightning mage," Alaina said, indicating the yellow stripes on her sleeves. "I did my testing four years ago, and my skills improved rapidly under the guidance of Professor Thundershock. That's how I became an instructor so quickly." Alaina didn't sound like she was bragging, merely stating a fact. Perhaps she was tired of people assuming she was student just because she was so young. "Okay, let's get started, shall we?"
