So it's that time of year again. The time to set pen to paper and not stop until the tenth month of the year has run its course.
Yes, I took a year or two off from Kinktober in order to focus on other things. But I'm back now, and I'm bringing the challenge to CHYOA again.
You know the rules. During the course of each day of October, you have the chance to upload here a narrative that ties to the specific prompt words for that particular day.
For this year, the prompts are as follows:
Each story must be contained within 2000 words. But that is mostly for the sake of the judges. If your story happens to be a bit longer, just post a second chapter that shows how it concludes. Just make sure that the connection to the prompt word is clear within the first chapter.
Don't hesitate. If you are not up for the challenge, feel free to try out a lighter alternative, such as picking out a couple of days to post on. That's what I did 2023.
