Final Fantasy

Cloud's body writhed in pain as he hit the lifestream. It was the most pain he had ever been in, and as a warrior he felt a lot of pain, but it was also the most incredible sensation he had ever experienced.

"Now I know why Sephiroth wants to merge with the lifestream" Cloud thought. "This is an incredible rush."

The lifestream began to infuse itself through Cloud's body. He began to see things, past, present, and future. The lifestream flowed through tout the world, no, the universe he realized. It granted him unbelievable knowledge and power, he could see anything he wanted, go anywhere he wished. He could explore his past and learn the real him.

"That sounds good, but maybe later," Cloud though as looked around.

He opened his eyes and looked around. He saw many different worlds before him that he could travel to. However a few contained incredible warriors like himself and those caught eye.

In one he saw a dark haired woman seeking freedom with the help of mercenaries. He noticed that those who would help her out would fight for the whole world. "Maybe I could help them out," Cloud thought.

In another he saw a strange creature with a tail, yet he was very powerful. He noticed more importantly though an incredibly beautiful woman who stood beside him. "A princess," he realized "Perhaps she could use my help as well."

He looked into the past and saw a world, were magic and technology had blended. Two strange and beautiful women seemed to be the center of this strange blending. One had green hair and seemed to be the child of a magical creature and a human. The other was an attractive blonde who seemed to have had magic infused into her. He knew a great catastrophe would strike this world, perhaps one he could stop.

But then he looked up and saw his friends. "My world is in danger as well," Cloud thought. "Perhaps this is were I should stay."
