Vala grabbed Daniel by the arm and dragged him into her room.

“Look.” Said Daniel, feeling very grumpy, “I know these bracelets mean we can’t be apart for long but you could at least let me…”

Here Vala cut him off, “Daniel I’m BORED! I haven’t been outside in days and no one will let me do anything! And everyone here is so uptight. You all need to loosen up.”

“Well, that isn’t really my problem. I missed the Daedlus because of you, I don’t have to entertain you.”

“Well, you already entertained me once on the Prometheus” said Vala with a grin.

Daniel almost squawked with indignation. “You tied me down and…”

“See! No sense of fun. Anyway. I have a reason for dragging you in here.”

Daniel sighed, resigned to her antics, “Fine, what?”

“Well… I borrowed some of these “DVD’s” from Te’alc, most of them are about Tau’ri culture. The quality is terrible and they’re as boring as the rest of you.”

“That’s why you dragged me in here? To complain about Te’alc’s national geographic collection?”

“No! See there was one that was a bit…different. I though maybe you could explain it to me. I asked Colonel Mitchell about it but he said it was definitely your area of expertise.”

Expecting a documentary on ancient culture Daniel said, “Fine put it on, I’ll explain whatever you want.”

Turning to the TV in the corner Vala hit play.
