time to learn

I followed Harry out of the room as he took me along the hallway. looking around i see the cameras everywhere. their where not even blind spots to use since there are camera's facing the other way to eliminate any possible blind spots. they did not skimp on the security budget. i also tried to find a way to figure out where we are going.

"There are no signs how you know where you are going," I asked out loud.

"There is a trick to it. one you will learn later on in training," he said. I could quess the unnamed condition would be when they felt i was loyal to them. we traveled the rest of the way in silence before reaching a door. he slid his card in the door and it opened.

looking in the room i see a mostly empty room with a chair in the middle of it. there are restraints on the chair and above it a large helmet. he led me to the chair an indicated for me to sit down. their was an opening in the back for my tail to go through. "what is this all for," i asked.

"it is for education," was all harry said.

he then took the restraint belts and started to secure me to the chair. he started by looping a belt around my tail and pulling it tight causing me to let out a wince. then belts went above and below my breast. another belt went over the top of my legs securing them to the seat of the chair. my wrist and ankles were secured next to the chair.

he then placed a pair of remotes in my hand before lowering the helmet. he then tightened it to my head. a collar went over my neck keeping my head in place. the helmet was completely dark. suddenly it activated like a tv screen, and a voice appeared.

"Hello and welcome to the educator 2000. for starters we will be giving you a few quizzes to figure out where you are at. we encourage you to put your full effort into class. for every wrong answer will result in punishment," said a stick figure on the screen.

"This thing is a school," i said in shock. i also wince as the collar sends an electrical shock into me.

"Yes, a perfect soldier must also be educated as well. dumb jocks may work as front-line fighters to be sacrificed but the best have brains equal to brawn," said harry.

"Now a question will appear, and you will need to answer it. use the controls in your hands to answer the questions. we will start with math.

Shinobi A leaves their village to get to base A 100 miles away at twenty miles an hour. at the same time shinobi B leaves base A heading towards the village running fifteen miles an hour. if neither shinobi slows down, when will they meet.

"Well at least it is multiple choice," I said with a hint of concern. I was more a person of action than thought. okay it would only take A only 5 hours to reach the base so b and d are out. crossing my fingers i chose A.

"Correct next question," said the voice.
