the second day of travel certainly seemed more adventurous than the first as the fields and farms became increasingly sparse while the wilderness gradually took their place.

in these less civilized territories every man and woman was a bulwark of themselves, there were no guards patrolling the roads at most rare missions to annihilate large gangs of bandits or annihilate monsters coming from the depths of the forest that came too close to civilization.

While Akari was pondering the oddities of fantasy geography of going from the heart of civilization to the edge of the wild lands in a day and a half their first encounter as an adventurer took place.

Three armed women were standing in the middle of the road staring at them and the wagon, completely in plain sight, within range of a fireball (if there was a wizard who could cast the iconic spell that solves all problems) showing a hostile and arrogant attitude.

Angela: Let's start, first they'll threaten us in a friendly way then we'll kick their asses, the classic.

Akari: What do you mean threaten us in a friendly way?

When they got to 30 meters from the bandits, the one who was supposed to be the leader of the bandits yelled at them

Bandita1: You've entered our territory, if you want to pass unharmed we want a toll!

Minny: I won't give a penny to a damn bandit!

Bandita1: Hey, we're all women here, I haven't seen a well-equipped beast (Mutank) in a really long time, I think my companions would be very willing to ignore the toll for a little rodeo if you know what I mean.
