I look at mom confused as we pull up in front of the bank and I'm about to ask her before she hops out without sparing me a glance. I hurriedly unbuckle as thoughts of her being angry with me fills my mind. I manage to catch up to her and then outpace her mainly because of her high heels and managed to open the door for her as she breezes by barely sparing me a glance my heart sinks. When we reach the line mom motions me to in in front of her and when I shake my head she pushes me forward. As the line snakes around I realize most of people in line are giving me glances and my heart skips as I think for a second that I may have some of mom or my leavings on me, but I let out a sign as I look down and see myself unblemished.

A young couple catch each other looking at me both seeming to like what they are seeing ending in a argument. A older man leers at me the entire time until he is called up to the window. A young mother with a baby in a stroller bites her lips as she eyes me until the baby starts to make a fuss. I hear mom mumble "Maybe I should have used a different word that 'irresistible'."

After what felt like eternity I'm next and when next is called I walk up to a mousy cashier with large glasses. The young woman immediately flushes upon seeing me and lets out a giggle I don't think she even realized. She plays with her hair as she stammers "Hi..I.....um...How... can...I......Oh forget it. Here's my number if..you ever want to go get drinks, I'm off at 7 usually."

The young teller slides a piece of paper she quickly ripped off of a note pad behind the desk before continuing "Well....I mean if you are single, you probably aren't your just so cute. I'm-"

"Yes. She is with me. I have an appointment to get a loan." Mom says as she lightly pushes me aside as she clenches her fist. The teller blushes to the point I'm afraid she may explode as she stammers and apologize as she leads us to a couple office's to the side one with a gold plate that reads Marcus, loan officer, and the other Mishell, bank manager.
