takeing kitty out for the day

I just have to sit back and chuckle to myself as I watch Starfire devouer the cans of tuna I placed out for her. "Mmmh....that was MOST enjoyable freind John!" Star burbles out happly as she licks her fingers clean.

"I can see that, I hope I can afford to feed you sweety." I say half jokeingly as I nibble on my muffin. Starfire misses the joke and thinks I ment what I said. "Huuh....I..I am sorry... I didnt mean to be a burden.." She whispers sadly as her ears turn down in shame.

'Oh crap!' "Oh kitty...I'm sorry, I didnt mean that. I was only jokeing with you." I gently clasp her hand with mine. "Please forgive me Star." At this gesture Starfire starts to giggle as her face tints a darker orange. "You fell for it!" She says with a happy giggle.

This throws me for a loop. "Fell for what Kitty?" She leans closer to me and licks the tip of my nose. "I was playing the jest upon you freind John!" Her smile turns impish as I slap my forehead.

After breakfast Starfire and I are cuddleing on the couch watching daytime tv. "So kitty, what would you like to do today, anything you want, my treat." I emphasize this remark with a smile.

"Anything?" She asks as her ears twitch slightly. I nod happly. "Whatever will make you happy kitty." She puts her finger to her lips and looks away for a minute. "Hmm...."
