night under the stars

starry night

Noah chap 6 starry night

(Victoria POV)

Victoria was rather confused about what to do. Her transformation didn't bother her too much. The ears and tail weren't particularly disturbing. Admittedly, she would have preferred the other option, but it wasn't dramatic.

No, the real problem was that she didn't know what to do. Normally, she would have just gone for a run to clear her head. If she was ****, she could have grabbed one of the other athletes in the stadium and banged away until she was exhausted.

Her life was simple and routine and suited her very well. She pushed herself every day to gain a few seconds, a few meters. She didn't have to ask herself any questions, and people expected nothing more of her than to perform well on the day of the competition.

She knew she wasn't as smart as her sister. She'd been told that often enough. She had no manners and lacked elegance. That's why she had put her heart and soul into sport. There, she wasn't judged by her family name or her sister.

All that mattered was the time and distance. If she failed to jump high enough, all she had to do was run faster. If she didn't run fast enough, she just had to throw farther. All that mattered was performance.

But here, did it still make sense? Sure, she could run faster than anyone here, but that wouldn't do her any good. It wasn't an intellectual test, but something she was just as mediocre at. It was a contest of charm, of romance.

She really didn't stand a chance.

"Okay, so we've taken care of the most urgent thing, but now what do we do? I think it's important to find out how much time we have before the sun goes down, and then explore the surrounding area. Jeanne, as a sailor you must have some idea of how much time we have before it gets dark," declared Sophia.

"We're not even on Earth and we have no idea of the trajectory,

the inclination of this planet, even supposing it's round, but if we ignore all that, we still have 4 hours of daylight at our position, plus or minus 30 minutes," replied Jeanne, looking up at the sky.

"Okay that's manageable. Now I'm going to try to use the wings I just got to get some height and observe the surroundings. I'd advise you to stand back," Sophia declared before starting to flap her wings and lift off the ground.

The dragonoid quickly became a tiny speck in the sky. It was still visible, but it wouldn't have been possible to clearly make out the movements of its arms. Seeing that she wasn't coming down right away, Elizabeth spoke up.

"While we're waiting for her to come back down, I suggest we get right down to business, Arthur," announced Victoria's older sister.

"What? What is it?" asked the only man present. He clearly seemed to be lost in his own thoughts and didn't seem to expect anyone to talk about him.

"You're the center of this show, and it's likely we're all going to end up having sexual and loving relationships with you. So, my question is for all of you, how do you deal with this idea? Does it bother you? Can't you conceive of it? Do you tell yourself it's inevitable? Do you have any prerequisites, any expectations to fulfil before it's possible?" questioned the chemist.

"Elizabeth..." began Arthur.

"I understand the process," Jeanne began, "but I don't think most of us have had time to think about it and weigh up the pros and cons. Take your sister Victoria, for example. She doesn't know Arthur. How can she give a real answer?" questioned the catgirl.

"I have no problem having sex with him, especially if he's the only man. with whom I can have them," explained the Kobold.

"Is it okay not to know my brother?" asked Iris.

"It's just sex. It's not like it's important. After that, I admit that given his physical appearance, or rather lack of it, I wouldn't have been attracted to him in the first place.

but beggars can't be choosers. If I can't fuck another guy this one will have to do the case. I just hope it lasts longer than 2 minutes," replied Victoria.

"Okay, I admit I didn't necessarily expect such a philosophy of life, but I understand it's a different way of looking at life. Elizabeth, do you share your sister's vision?" asked Jeanne.

Eli blushed for a moment before pulling himself together.

"I'm not in love with Arthur, but on the other hand Arthur is a friend and someone I hold in high esteem. Being forcibly engaged to him, I figure I'm not doing so badly," replied Elizabeth in her usual polite tone.

"I'm really not sure that's a real topic. Yes, the aim of this show is to show a harem of young women competing for a man's affection, but I don't know about you, but I don't intend for that to be my objective. I want to save as many people as possible and build a new society that's fairer and more egalitarian than the last one, one that won't repeat the same mistakes," Lisa explained.

A fair and egalitarian society? As if that were possible. If life had taught us one thing to Victoria was that she was never fair and that individuals were not equal.

"Lisa, I understand what you mean, and yes, we must try to do our best to save our loved ones and build a better society. But we mustn't forget that a society is extremely complex and that human beings are imperfect. We won't be able to prevent human selfishness and cruelty," replied Felicity.

"Except we're not human anymore!" exclaimed the dryad, pointing to the flowers in her hair.

"Let's calm down. Let's calm down," Arthur interjected, "I know it's a trying situation, but let's not get carried away by our emotions. Sophia's right, let's focus on the short term for now."

"Okay then in the short term who's going to sleep with you tonight? because if I remember one of us has to sleep with you every night." asked Tammy.

Neither Arthur, Jeanne nor Elizabeth seemed to have anticipated the question. Before any of them could answer, the bunnygirl spoke up.

"I'm going to sleep with Arthur. After all, it's not the first time I've slept with him. We're brother and sister, so there's no risk of anything happening, which will allow everyone to sleep more peacefully," says Iris.

"Iris, are you sure about this?" asked Arthur.

"Do I trust my brother not to **** me in my sleep? Tough question. You can be such an idiot sometimes. Of course I trust you. I don't think I'm the only one here", Iris affirmed.

"Arthur, I can only speak for myself, but I know you're not a bad guy who's going to **** his position. You're not perfect, and frankly I can't say I'm glad I got dragged into this whole mess. But on the other hand, you're probably the person I know who's least likely to **** the power you've just been given," said Felicity.

"Now that I think about it, that's probably why he was chosen. This show is supposed to be **** for us contestants, but also for him. If he was a bastard who enjoyed it, it would probably be different," declared Jeanne.

The conversation was interrupted by Sophia's landing/crash right next to them.

"Are you all, right?" asked Lily, rushing over to Sophia, who was struggling to her feet. "Nothing broken?" questioned Arthur.

"Of course, not it's just a few scratches. Nothing too serious," replied the dragongirl aggressively.

"Okay if you're fine, can you tell us what you saw?" asked Jeanne.

"It's really incredible. Even after seeing it with my own eyes, I still can't believe it. believe," replied the prosecutor.

"Would you be so kind as to share your findings?" asked the vampire.

"Already the sensation of flying is indescribable. Twirling through the sky gives you a feeling of freedom and power beyond compare. But the most astonishing thing is what I saw. This world is nothing like ours. Beyond these plain stretches, to the east, a verdant forest unlike anything I've ever seen in my life. To the south, I caught a glimpse of the ocean and its immensity. This plain seems to stretch to the west, with just a few small islands of trees. To the north, I could see mountains, but they seem really far away," Sophia recounted.

"It sounds a lot like our world from what you describe, plains, forests, mountains and oceans, nothing too extraordinary." commented the Kitsune.

"It's got nothing to do with it!" exclaimed Sophia, "Here, everything's more alive, everything's more real. I really felt like an ant, tiny before the immensity of the world."

"There's no need to get upset," says Lisa, "She's still young and hasn't yet realized how insignificant we are compared to the immensity of the world."

"Let's avoid insulting each other please." asked Lily "the situation is complicated enough as it is."

"Mrs Adams is right. Let's concentrate instead on what we have to do. Now that we have a clearer idea of where we are, we need to decide where we're going," said Elizabeth.

"The ocean and mountains seem too far away from what I understand, but are you how far is the forest, Sophia?" asked Jeanne.

"We haven't yet decided whether to head for the forest," says Kelly.

"Certainly, but it's not as if we're going to sit here and do nothing. If we can reach the forest in a relatively short time, I think it's worth it," justified the catgirl.

"The forest isn't far, but I doubt we could walk 25 km," Sophia explained.

"25 km, knowing that a human being walks at around 5 km/h, we're going to be short of to reach the forest before dark," calculated Susan.

"Yes, that's what I fear. However, I did see some trees about an hour's walk to the south-east. We can reach it quickly and probably find some branches to light a fire for tonight" declared Sophia.

"Are those fruit trees? I could really go for a mango," said Tammy.

Sophia didn't seem to know what to say to the question and replied that she didn't know what to say.

what a mango tree looks like.

"I suggest we start walking in that direction then. Sophia is what you show us the way?" asked Arthur.

"Yes." replied the dragonoid, moving in one direction.

She was soon joined by Eli, who began to make small talk with her. There was also Violet trying to chat with Susan and Tammy, although the two young women seemed rather uninterested in talking with the Leprechaun. Were they unconsciously associating Violet with Nola?

The group set off at a leisurely pace, which for Victoria was a real ****. Normally, even without exerting themselves, they should have been able to cover the distance in 15 minutes.

However, she refrained from commenting on the subject. She had learned that people didn't like being told they were slow.

It took them 1h30 to reach their destination. Sophia had been **** to take off

regularly to check that they weren't straying too far from their goal. Secondly, it was obvious that the majority of those present did not practise any form of sport and therefore walked slowly at 4.5km/h. In their defence, they were all quite unaccustomed to their new bodies.

The place they arrived at was both simple and magnificent. There must have been a dozen trees positioned in a heap around a boulder that had refused to go into the ground. The trees weren't very tall, but they did reach a height of 5m.

"Okay, this place will have to do for the night," declared Jeanne.

And once again, she was making the decision without asking anyone's opinion, and all the the world was still too shocked to make the slightest remark.

They started circling the trees to check for any dangerous or potentially problematic animals. A wasp swarm could have **** them to move. Then it was decided that there would be a guard tour. To prevent the guard from falling asleep, it was decided that 2 guards would stand watch at the same time for 3 hours, before waking up the next guards, who would then do the same with the following ones. So, 3 shifts of 3 hours each, with 2 people on each shift. This meant that there would only be 6 people whose night would be cut short. Someone suggested a 1.5-hour shift so that everyone could participate, but the idea was rejected as far too short.

It was decided that Victoria and Elizabeth would take care of the first round, Kelly and Violet the second, and Victoria and Elizabeth the third.

Jeanne and Felicity would take care of the last lap.

Arthur had to sleep with Iris, and no one really wanted to check if the Master had to do a full night's sleep for the rule to be respected.

Lily was the most emotionally exhausted, and Susan had to stay with her mother, although as a as a vampire, she could very well have taken on a tour of guard duty.

As for Sophia, it was decided that she had already overexerted herself by flying for a long time. distance.

In the end, only Tammy and Lisa were left, but neither of them was particularly keen to volunteer, and were delighted that the mission had been entrusted to someone else.

Everyone paid some BP for 2-man tents. A wood fire was lit, and they had dinner.

quickly. Nobody really knew what to talk about. No one really wanted to dwell on their lives on Earth, which didn't really matter anymore. So, the only real topic of conversation they discussed for more than a few minutes was what you were allowed to put on a pizza. Victoria had argued that a pizza without meat wasn't a pizza. How could Lisa consider a vegetarian pizza to be a real pizza?

Everyone except the Miller sisters went to bed. Victoria and Elizabeth

sat quietly around the fire and waited a few minutes for the silence of the night to settle in. "Are you all, right?" asked Elizabeth.

Quite frankly, Victoria hadn't expected this question. She did, however, take a moment to think about it before giving an answer.

"I don't know. I'm still having trouble realizing what it all means. Tomorrow morning, I won't

I won't be getting up to go running. I won't be taking part in the next Olympic Games. It's strange to think that a lifetime's objective can disappear in an instant. I've understood it, but I don't think I've accepted it yet," replied the kobold.

"I see. I must admit, I haven't felt so lost in a long time either. The world as I knew it is gone. But in exchange, a new world is opening up to us. It's up to us to shape it", replied to the elf, gazing up at the stars.

"Shaping the world... I don't know if I'll be able to. I'm not like you, Eli. I've never had any great ambitions. Helping others, changing the world, I realized a long time ago that it wasn't possible for me." replied Victoria.

"Don't talk nonsense. You're probably the person with the most mental strength here. I've seen you run for hours when you were exhausted. I've seen you stick to a daily routine for years where you get up at the crack of dawn and go for a run. If that's not determination, I don't know what is." replied the chemist.

"It's not the same. Here I was training just for myself, I didn't need to think about anything. All that mattered was performance. Here, as on Earth, I have no use for anything," says the young athlete in a morose tone.

"That's not true. You've brought joy and entertainment to all the spectators who've attended each of your competitions. You've motivated hundreds of little girls to take up sport. You've generated revenue through advertising based on your image. As for what you can do here, you'll figure it out. We could use someone who knows how to train physically," says Elizabeth.

Victoria sighed. Her sister really didn't understand. Better to change the subject. "Let's change the subject. What do you think of Arthur? Were you in love with him?"

"No, he was just a friend. You know very well that with our father it was just not possible to have a romantic relationship," replied the elf.

"Okay, but here all that doesn't matter anymore, does it? Are you going to go out with him?" insisted Victoria.

"I don't really know. We don't really have a choice," replied the twin sister. "So, I'll have to go out with him too..." commented the kobold.

"What? No? Yes? Well, maybe. In any case you don't know him and these things takes time. Didn't you fall in love at first sight?" asked Eli.

"No, have you seen his build? He's way too skinny for me. I'd break him in half in an instant. Besides, he seems the type to beat around the bush for hours. I want someone who knows what he wants and won't hesitate to assert it," Victoria declared.

The conversation continued until the change of watch. Victoria smiled as she lay down from her sleeping bag. She hadn't had to sleep with her sister for several years now. It was nice.

(Kelly POV)

Violet and Kelly took the second shift. It was really hard to get up after just under 3 hours' sleep, but they eventually struggled to their feet. Violet had probably slept the least. She was far too excited about everything that was happening.

Kelly could hardly blame her. Her sister had always been a fan of anime, manga and particularly the Isekai genre. Their situation was literally a dream come true for her. She could easily understand why Arthur had chosen her.

Violet began to talk about different Isekai, trying to find the one that most fitted their current case. There must have been an author who thought of that," she declared.

From what Kelly understood, the change of species was quite classic. They were even lucky not to have been turned into skeletons. Magic was almost compulsory. But the surprising part was that there was no one around. They weren't discovering a new world; they were creating one.

Creating a world. An immense task, some would say insurmountable. Yet this was the challenge they were about to face. Would they be up to the task?

"Oh Kelly, excuse me I'm talking too much and not listening to you as usual. Maybe you have something to say. I know this can't be easy for you. You don't even know Arthur," Violet apologized.

"Arthur's not the problem. I don't really know him, but he doesn't strike me as being completely unbearable. No, I'm much more worried about our responsibilities. We're going to have to rule a world," says Kelly.

"Ah yes that story about the winner becoming empress ..."

"No, that's a minor detail. Take a government on earth, it's as if the winner became prime minister but the other candidates remained mere ministers. The problem is that I don't think I'm up to running a ministry, a kingdom or anything. For fuck's sake, I'm an art student. I spend my weeks studying paintings, painting myself and partying. I'm not competent to administer or manage anything!" exclaimed the demoness.

"Oh Kelly. You're a very clever girl with a limitless imagination and determination. You've already got a much better chance of being a good queen than I have, at least you've thought the problem through." said Violet.

"That's not necessarily reassuring," replied the painter.

"You're not perfect and you're not competent, so what? Do you really think our leaders are competent? The list of politicians who screw up is endless. At least you have ethics and you'll do your best. Yes, you'll make mistakes, but we'll be there to support each other," says Violet, giving her sister a hug.

They remained motionless in this position for long minutes, until it became clear that they would not be able to move.

becomes uncomfortable.

"Thanks sis I needed to hear that."

"That's why I'm here. It's a big sister's job to be there for her little sister, isn't it? What's more, you've said some very intelligent things: it's highly likely that we'll have to divide up the tasks between us in a way similar to a government. Do you think we could create a Ministry of Anime or, even better, a Ministry of Magic? Me, the great Leprechaun reigning as master of magic at the top of her tower. Yes, that's classy," says Violet, striking a pose.

Kelly found it hard to hold back a laugh as she watched her sister play the magical girl.

"I have my doubts about a Ministry of Anime, but a Ministry of Magic sounds like a perfect fit. possible," replied Kelly.

"Then it's decided I'll become the greatest Minister of Magic of all time. Hermione Granger you'd better watch out."

(Felicity POV)

Felicity and Jeanne had no trouble waking up in the middle of the night. In their professions, it's important to be able to wake up quickly. Whether it's a storm or a fire, 5 minutes can make all the difference.

As the Carther sisters went to bed, Felicity Green began her morning stretches. She had to stay in shape and, above all, discover the different changes in her body due to the transformation.

Quite frankly, tribal tattoos didn't bother her in the slightest.

thought it was rather classy. In fact, it was the first question she asked Jeanne. "What do you think of my new tattoos?" asked the firefighter.

"As a sailor I've travelled a lot, and a lot of people in the navy have tattoos, but quite frankly yours are probably the most beautiful I've ever seen," declared the catgirl.

"Thank you. Your tail and cat ears look good on you too." replied Felicity humorously.

"Thank you for that. I guess I'll just have to get used to it I guess it won't be the last of the changes we will undergo," says Jeanne.

"We'll adapt. It's not like we have any other choice," Felicity replied. "I guess that's the only option," replied the catgirl.

An awkward silence settled in, and finally it was Felicity who broke it.

"You know, Arthur's told me a lot about you. The best friend always at sea. Always with her head on her shoulders, except of course when she's telling you about the beauty of the raging ocean."

"The ocean is truly magnificent when it's angry. Powerful, chaotic and yet harmonious. Even in the middle ofa storm you can still get out of it as long as you don't stand up to the ocean."

"I see he wasn't lying : you're a true ocean enthusiast," commented the Amazon. "Always on the water and as little time on land as possible," she replied proudly. "So, you must be unhappy to be ashore here, with no opportunity to sail."

"No, I'm not that obsessed with the sea. Besides, I figure we'll have to go back to the sea at some point. Life comes from the ocean and always ends up going back to it. But what else motivates you to throw yourself into the flames to save someone?" asked Jeanne.

"You know, firefighters don't just deal with fires. We're also involved in prevention, responding to storms, falling trees, floods and so on. To put it simply, when there's danger, we're there. I agree that in summer, a good part of our activity is linked to fires, but we most often intervene for home rescue, falls, drowning, illnesses. There are many reasons why we intervene," says Felicity.

"You didn't really answer the question," the catgirl commented with a smile.

"Arthur was right you never let go."

"Never."

"Well, you'll just have to wait and see, because I don't intend to reveal all my secrets just yet. After all, secrets make women more beautiful", replied the Amazon in a sensual voice.

"As if you could be more beautiful," replied the catgirl. "For you I can try. I still have a soft spot for cats."

"I'm not stuck in a tree, but I' m sure we can find something for you. that you come and take me in your arms."

The two young women, aged 28 and 30 respectively, looked into each other's eyes for a moment. before bursting out laughing at the rude flourish they'd had.

"Haha Ha. I haven't laughed like that in a long time," replied the firefighter. "Me neither. It feels good but is what you really are, well you know ..."

"Am I a lesbian? I'll tell you the truth, sexuality is much more complex than gay, lesbian and straight. There's a whole spectrum of color, a veritable rainbow. Yes, I appreciate the female body, probably more than the male, but I'm not really interested in the question. I like who I like. Period." replied Felicity.

"Okay, I see, but what are you going to do with Arthur?" questioned Jeanne.

"I don't know. He's a friend but I'm not particularly attracted to him. Oh, just so we're clear, if I had a gun to my head I'd sleep with him, but I doubt I'd ever develop any romantic feelings for him," replied the Amazon.

Jeanne didn't seem to know what to say. Seeing the catgirl hesitate, Felicity continued.

"There's no point in projecting yourself and trying to anticipate the future. Could you have anticipated this show? Of course not. Our feelings will change whether we like it or not, and we'll just have to deal with it."

"I agree with you that we can't predict what's going to happen, but we have to do everything we can to avoid the worst-case scenarios either for ourselves or for our loved ones. What's more, the rules are clear: if we have sex outside the Harem, we'll be punished," replied the vice- captain.

"Yes, it is indeed quite restrictive but that still leaves a total choice of 12 people I guess that's better than nothing. Yuri is always popular with this kind of kinky audience," says Felicity, continuing to make the catgirl blush.

"Please, let's change the subject. Tell me about your work and I'll tell you about mine - it'll pass the time more comfortably than talking about this kind of subject." replied Jeanne.
