You look at your hand. four hearts and eight hearts. A pretty lousy hand. You pick up fifty dollars and put it in the pot.

"Call?" Daniel asked. the player next after the big blind were the one who had to decide to call and increase their bet to the big blind, raise it further, or fold.

"Might as well," you say in a nonchalant tone and put down another 125 dollars.

"I'll call as well," Daniel said, tapping his big blind button.

You cut the deck and put out the first flop. Ace of diamonds, king of spades, and a two of diamonds. Damn, nothing good... "I'll call," you say.

"Yeah, me too," Daniel said as you put out the Turn. An ace of hearts! Not much help. If there had been another hearts on the table you could have gone for a flush, but no such luck. "I'll call," you say and get ready to flip the River.

Ten of diamonds. Meh. "...Call?" you say as you get ready to reveal your hand.

"Seems we both have mediocre hands," Daniel said as he revealed his hand as well.

You look over to see what he had.
