A bit nervous to ask and also worrying that he might say no, you decide to stay silent and wait until your at work, which you arrive at very quickly. You step out and thank him for helping once again with getting you to your destination, to which he replies.

"no problem, anytime. I'm always glad to help a friend. Now hurry up and get in there before you get fired or miss something important."

You nod and hurry inside, you hear his car drive off. It's not loud but it is audible. You head to the elevators to see there are new stickers slapped on the door, this time off a soldier holding a bazooka and as the door of the elevator closes, the rocket is launched. It's simple but always fun to see a new joke with some simple stickers and a elevator.

You're just about to arrive at your office when you're stopped by someone.

"Hey I've been looking for you. The boss wants to see you in her office, I think it's urgent as she told me to come get you as soon as possible."

You reply with a simple okay then head in a different direction. Looks like you're not going to your office just yet as your boss wants to see you. You wonder what for though, are you getting fired? You doubt it, you've been a good boy at work, laying low, getting your head down to not stand out and just getting work done on time.

You knock on the door and hear a simple

From behind the door. You step inside the room, a nice draft hitting you as you walk in. You have a small bit of sweat on you so the draft thankfully came at a good time. You take a seat in the rather comfy red and golden chair. The red being close to currant or garnet and the gold being a nice shade of flaxen. You look up straight in her sage green eyes.

"Listen I've gotten a lot of work to do and you came in a bit late so I'm sure you're in a hurry too so let's cut this short and cut to the chase. We fired someone for stealing of the company and with their pay I've decided to give hard working members of this workplace, such as yourself, a raise. It will be a 75% increase of your current pay and will hopefully make life a bit easier for you, because I know you've been struggling a bit with money. So what do you say?"
