What now?

lunchtime

As lunch time came Jennifer was hungy again and still crave noodle . So unknowingly she went back to the noodle shop.

As Jennifer stepped out of her car and started walking towards the noodle shop, she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong. It was as if her body was moving on its own, pulling her towards the dingy shop in a rundown part of town.

She had never been to this part of town before, and the people she saw on the streets made her feel uneasy. But she couldn't resist the urge to go inside the noodle shop. As she walked in, the smell of cooking spices and herbs hit her, making her mouth water. She was surprised to see that the shop was empty except for an old Asian woman behind the counter.

The woman looked at Jennifer with a surprised expression, taking in her expensive clothes and designer handbag. "You here for noodles?" she asked in broken English.

Jennifer nodded, feeling embarrassed about being there. She ordered a bowl of noodles and took a seat at one of the small tables in the corner. As she waited for her food, she looked around the shop, taking in the shabby furniture, peeling paint, and the general air of neglect.

The old woman brought her the bowl of noodles, and Jennifer took a spoonful, savoring the complex flavors. She couldn't remember ever tasting anything so delicious. As she ate, she started to relax, feeling a strange sense of peace wash over her. She realized that she had been under a lot of stress lately, and this moment of quiet and solitude was exactly what she needed.

As she finished her meal, the old woman brought her a cup of tea. "Very good for you," she said, smiling. Jennifer nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards this kind stranger. She took a sip of the tea and felt a strange sensation in her body, as if something was changing inside her. She tried to brush it off, thinking it was just the unfamiliar flavors and spices.

As she got up to leave, the old woman stopped her. "You have a lot of anger inside you," she said, looking into Jennifer's eyes. "You need to let it go, or it will destroy you."

Jennifer was taken aback by the woman's words. How did she know about her anger? And what did she mean by it? She brushed it off, thinking the woman was just a crazy old lady, and left the shop.

As she got back into her car and drove away, she felt a strange sensation in her chest. It was as if a weight had been lifted off her, and she felt lighter and freer than she had in a long time. She couldn't explain it, but she knew that something had changed inside her.

Over the next few days, Jennifer found herself drawn back to the noodle shop. She couldn't explain why, but she felt a sense of peace whenever she was there. She started to talk to the old woman, who told her stories about her life in China and her struggles as an immigrant in America. Jennifer found herself opening up to the woman, telling her things she had never told anyone before.

One day, as Jennifer was leaving the shop, she noticed a strange figure watching her from across the street. It was a woman in her fifties, dressed in a skimpy outfit that highlighted her fake curves. Her face was heavily made up, and her eyes were cold and dead. Jennifer felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized that this was the woman who had been killed in the accident.

As she drove away, she felt the strange sensation in her chest again. It was as if the ghost of the dead woman was trying to communicate with her. She didn't know what to do, but she knew she had to find out more about the woman.
