... in the mailroom

Your second morning in the mail room begins to feel like routine – sorting, filing, stamping, interrupted only by the very pleasant visit of the very pleasant mail man. You pick up where you left yesterday, and you’re beginning to find him more than just eye candy – only shortly musing about how you look at handsome men now – but quite a decent nice to sped your time at work work beyond of how he makes your nethers tingle.

Shortly after he leaves, the service elevator opens and the 18 year old intern from your old department comes running, an envelope in his hand.

“Miss Jordan, the boss sends me, this letter is very important.”

You look at he boy, slightly out of breath, his handsome boyish face shiny from sweat. Your old boss really sent him running.

“Well, important or not the morning mail’s just gone. And I already kept the mail man longer than he should stay."

You giggle…

“It’ll have to wait.”

“Oh boy. It sounded really important. Oh, wait the boss told me to give you this, too.”

You take the folded note.

“Don’t mind the letter, Lexi, that can wait. I just send you the boy as a gratification for your successful first day – your whole old department sing the highest praises about new mail room girl – the boy more than anyone, I think he has a bit of a crush on you. I don’t need him right now, if he's after your taste, feel free to use him as long as you have the time. If not and you’re only into older men ;) just send him back up. xoxo”

You look at the note, then at the boy.

“Did you read this?”

His eyes widen.

”Of course not, Ma’am. The boss said it’s for your eyes only.”

“Hm. OK, first of all, I can tolerate Ms. Jordan, but Ma’am is a no-go, I’m not that much older than you. It’s Lexi.”

You have to suppress a giggle as you see him blush. Probably the boss is right about that crush...

“OK, {first_name female}.”

Just before you decide what to to with the boy, a mail notification pings on your computer.

“Dear Ms. Jordan, the CEO had been informed about your first day in your new position and has heard the best of reports about your performance on your first day. If you have the time, he would be pleased if you start your round today on the tops floor and plan in some time for a meeting to get to know him in private. This is not an official request, as the meeting might lead to activities your predecessors have rejected. If you do not wish to take this opportunity just ignore this mail.”
