Getting in his car, Liam couldn’t help but envy Sofia for her stress free job, as she had worked as a yoga instructor for the last five years. He, on the other hand, works a monotonous job as a junior salesman at a massive biotech company filled with the least interesting people on the planet. As he went through his day, Liam couldn’t help but think about their date at the new Italian restaurant that opened up down the street from his and Sofia’s apartment. However, around three in the afternoon, Liam got a text from Sofia: “Hey babe! Julia and Charlie have really wanted to try this restaurant for a while and are free tonight so I invited them to join us for dinner. Can’t wait! XOXO”

Fuck. Liam had no problem with Julia, Sofia’s hot, blonde best friend and coworker, but her husband, Charlie, was the absolute worst. A former college quarterback, Charlie was everything Liam wasn’t. Having come from a rich white family, the 6’3, buff man had a cushy job at a law firm and was incredibly successful for his age, not to mention his domineering yet charming personality. Liam hated being around him, especially with Sofia, as his fantasies would often flare up in his mind.
