and the first transformations

(Arthur POV)

"While waiting for the results of the audience vote. Arthur, could you tell us your preferences? The audience might take them into account." Nola asked.

"It's not very nice of you to ask him that question. There's no right answer and he doesn't know most of the people here well enough to guess." Felicity said.

"I guess you know what you preferred," Violet commented.

"The choice is easy, become an emotionless machine or get some tribal tattoos? surprisingly it didn't take me 2 seconds to decide." Felicity said

Arthur understood this reasoning quite easily since he had held the same one when the proposals had appeared.

"For my part it seems quite obvious that it is the transformation into an elf that will win so I admit I am not worried more than that. I do however have a doubt about the transformation chosen for Victoria." declared Elizabeth

"They're obviously going to go for the giant transformation. Nothing better than bulging muscles and a good dose of sweat. Ah, ah." Victoria said with a laugh.

Arthur mentally admitted that he didn't know what to think about it. Victoria was already imposing but to imagine her twice as tall… it was almost terrifying.

"Nola could you free Susan. I think she understands, and she won't get upset again." Jeanne asked.

"Okay but she better not insult the producers or the show anymore." Nola said before releasing Susan who instantly fell to her knees. That must have been trying.

"Baby are you okay?" Lily asked as she rushed over to her daughter.

"I'm fine Mom. I made a mistake; it doesn't happen to me often." Susan said, breathing heavily.

"Oh you and your ego. Don't scare me like that again." Lily said exasperated by her daughter's behavior. Why did she have to be so pretentious? Okay she was brilliant but still.

"Don't worry - I never make the same mistake twice. After all, I'm a genius. Nothing but perfection." Susan boasted.

“Perfect and modest,” Jeanne remarked with undisguised sarcasm.

"Susan since I allowed you to speak could you give us your preference?" Nola asked but her tone of voice made it clear that it was an order.

"Um, I already build a lot of robots and programs so I guess the dwarf option would be tolerable. I don't feel like going goth." Susan said, looking down.

“No matter what you look like, you’ll always be my little girl.” Lily said, taking another

"Stop it Mom, you're making me look like a child." Susan complains

"Let your mother express her love for you, you probably don't deserve it, but she loves you with all her heart and wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice herself for you. A mother like that is priceless." Sophia said

Susan lowered her head upon hearing this.

"Bro, are you okay?" Iris asked, approaching him.

"I should be the one asking that. I'm still the big brother, I think." Arthur replied humorously.

"It's not funny Art, I'm worried about you. I know you tend to feel guilty easily. You know it's not your fault, right?" Iris asked.

"I know. I know and I don't feel guilty." Arthur said, mentally adding 'not yet'

"Okay so you have no problem with your little sister becoming an adorable bunnygirl?" Iris asked slyly.

"No? Yes? Wait, what? What's the right answer?" Arthur finally asked confused.

"Idiot, there is no good answer, she's just pulling your leg. After all, it is not very fair to torment your brother like that." commented Jeanne who had known Iris for years now.

"You're not funny, Jeanne. He's so tense that we must laugh a little. And you're not going to make me believe that the audience isn't going to choose the 'Bunnygirl' option." replied Iris who didn't appreciate Jeanne getting involved in the discussion.

"It's not a certainty, it's difficult to predict how beings so different from us will think.

On Earth you would probably have been right but here nothing is certain." said Jeanne

"So you're not thinking about becoming a Catgirl?" Iris replied.

"I didn't say that. I'm just saying that there's no point in projecting on things that are beyond our control." Jeanne said.

“But is there only one thing we control in our lives?” Kelly replied, inserting herself into the discussion.

"Of course we control things. It's through our choices that we destroyed our planet, built a society where people starve while others throw away food. When we ignore the homeless sleeping on the streets, that's a choice. When we are paid more for what we own than for our work, that's a choice. And it's those choices that brought us here, to the end of humanity." Lisa declared, casting a chill over the assembly.

Just a few hours ago, most of them would have probably downplayed these problems. They would have explained that the situation was more complicated than that, that the problem could not be so simply corrected, that it was a necessary evil. But now that they knew or rather could no longer deny the consequences, they could no longer hold the same discourse.

So of course, they could tell themselves that even if they had done something their individual actions would not have changed anything. And that is probably true. But the reality remained implacable, they had done nothing.

"And I now announce that the votes are closed. We will discover the results together. Is there a volunteer?" asked Nola.

Everyone mentally thanked the host. It was much easier to face the magic and the impossibility of their situation than the sad guilt that held them. It is not easy even for the most selfish of beings insensitive to the end of humanity.

“Me, me!” Violet shouted, raising her hand.

"Perfect we'll start with you then Violet. I want to thank the audience because even without needing to rig the votes, it was the Leprechaun transformation that won so Violet get ready to live life in green." Nola said with a smile

Green and happy as a Leprechaun: It was decided that participants couldn't remain human. So here was the first proposal to replace part of humanity, the Leprechauns. Violet liked Nola's appearance so much that Nola decided to give her the same appearance. As a result, Violet will lose 10 centimetres and grow to 1.60 meters high. Then the other major change is that all the clothes she wears must always be at least 90% shade of green

Everyone's eyes turned to HR. The first thing they noticed was Violet's height loss. 10 centimetres may not seem like much, but it's quite obvious when you see the change live.

The second part of the transformation was much easier to observe. It could have been summed up in one word, green. Violet's shirt, pants, and shoes changed color to a set of shades of green. The green wasn't exactly Nola's but it was definitely green.

The last change was the change in color of Violet's eyes from black to emerald green.

"I don't have a hat?" was the first thing Violet said after the transformation was complete.

"No, you don't have a hat. A Leprechaun must prove himself before he can earn his hat.

You'll have to wait a bit before you get one" replied Nola playing with her own hat with some pride.

"Too bad I should wait but it doesn't matter I would just have to level up faster.

“Kelly what skin color are you expecting?" Violet asked her sister completely changing the subject taking everyone by surprise

“Uh… I don’t know,” Kelly replied, not really having thought about the question.

"I have the answer to that question and I'm telling you that the audience made another excellent

choice by putting the Demon option at the top." Nola said.

Demon freedom: It was decided that the participants couldn't remain human. So here's the first proposal to replace part of humanity, the demons. Demons have skin colors ranging from scarlet to light blue. They have horns and a spiked tail. Mentally, they have a pronounced taste for all kinds of forms of pleasure and debauchery. The notion of the forbidden tends to excite him more than anything else.

Two horns quickly sprouted from Kelly's skull to form a sort of black crown on her head. A black tail worthy of a devil came out of the t-shirt the student was wearing. Then finally the color of Kelly's skin quickly changed to a shade of red that could have made her pass for a ladybug given the black t-shirt she was wearing.

“That feels really weird,” Kelly commented once the transformation was complete.

"The tail, the horns, the skin color or the mental changes?" asked Elizabeth who was watching the girl's appearance with interest.

"The tail especially. I could almost forget about the horns," Kelly said, touching her head as if to check for the presence of her horns.

"And you haven't noticed any mental changes?" Elizabeth insisted.

"No, I've looked everywhere but I can't find them." Kelly replied, playing with her new tail.

"Oh you will not notice a mental change unless it is specifically indicated. However, others may notice a change in behavior. Unfortunately for you Elizabeth your transformation does not involve mental changes. Make way for the new Galadriel.” Said Nola

The elegance of elves: It was decided that the participants couldn't remain human. So here's the first proposal to replace part of humanity, the elves. Elves bear a striking resemblance to human beings. The physical differences between them are minimal. The main characteristic of elves is their large, pointed ears, so this is where Elizabeth's transformation begins.

Everyone then took a moment to look for differences in Elizabeth's appearance. They had to wait for her to move her hair to see her new long, pointy ears.

"It's not much. There's no point dwelling on it. Let's move on." Elizabeth said, seemingly ignoring her transformation.

"You're really not funny, you know? Normally people make an effort to react to express emotions. But you're right, let's move on with our queen of sarcasm. And what could be better for our champion of nonchalance than to become a Neko?" asked the host.

Make way for the Neko: It was decided that participants couldn't remain human. So here is the first proposal to replace a part of humanity, the Neko. A people somewhere between man and cat, by becoming a Neko Jeanne will, for the time being, receive only a cat tail, and her ears will be replaced by cat ears placed on the tops of her head.

Jeanne's angry face with cat ears and tail wagging behind her back will remain forever etched in Arthur's memory. Usually when Jeanne is annoyed, she is rather terrifying. Here the problem is that the terrifying and unhappy side is completely hidden by the cute and adorable side.

"The first one who laughs will pay very, very dearly." Jeanne threatened, aware of her situation, even if the threat made Arthur want to burst out laughing even more. It was too much for Iris who burst out laughing.

"Excuse me, I shouldn't make fun. But seeing the great Jeanne who is always right like this is just too much." Iris said, trying to stop herself from laughing more.

Jeanne did not hide her annoyance when suddenly she began to smile.

"Nola, could you give us Iris's results?" Jeanne asked.

“Excellent idea,” Nola replied.

Happy as a Bunny: It was decided that the participants couldn't remain human. So here's the second proposal to replace part of humanity, the bunnygirls. Bunnygirls are not exclusively female, although their name can be misleading. This race is characterized by bunny ears and tails on a humanoid body. Bunnygirls are naturally playful and friendly. They enjoy being in groups and are quite shy.

Iris' transformation was similar to Jeanne's except Iris couldn't hold back a cry of surprise when a rabbit tail sprouted from her tailbone. Iris began to spin around, showing off her new assets.

“Wow. This is really intense. And why do I feel like jumping and moving around?” Iris wondered.

"Oh, that's part of the transformation. But let's not dwell on it, the schedule is tight. Tammy,

it's your turn. What do you think you got?" Nola asked.

"I'm honestly not even sure I really see what's sexy about all of these options. It's like wanting to have sex with a horse, it's not normal." Tammy said.

"What a pity, a seductress like doit who lacks taste, it's really disappointing. But maybe that will change with your transformation." Nola said with a smile.

Cunning as a Kitsune: It was decided that the participants couldn't remain human. So here was the first proposal to replace a part of humanity, the kitsunes. The fox people are masters in the art of seduction, so it was logical to include them in Harem Hôtel. The fox people are adept at deception and lies. They have great difficulty with simplicity and clarity, which bores them. They have between 1 and 9 fox tails and fox ears, otherwise they are physically similar to humans.

Suddenly a fluffy tail lifted Tammy's skirt slightly, and she tried as best she could to pull it down. Meanwhile, a pair of equally silky pink ears had appeared on top of the intern's head.

"Are you okay?" Arthur asked what his boss’s daughter was, or rather now former boss.

"Yeah sure. Why do you think it wouldn't work?" Tammy lied.

"Glad to see that lying is already so natural for you. And to finish this first half I propose Lisa's transformation. And there is a problem because there is perfect equality up to the hundredth decimal between the proportion of the audience wanting a dark elf and the proportion wanting a dryad. I therefore propose to Lisa to choose for herself which one she wants to have." Nola announced to everyone's surprise

"So, I have the right to choose?" the nurse asked.

"Usually in case of a tie I would have given you both options but here they are contradictory." Nola explained.

Lisa took a moment to think before answering

"I choose the dryad. Hopefully it will save us from destroying this world like we destroyed the last one."

A passion for nature: It was decided that the participants couldn't remain human. So here's the first proposal to replace part of humanity, the dryads. Dryads are a people halfway between plants and men. Female people only. They are characterized by the presence of creepers, leaves and flowers in their hair. They should avoid standing still on the ground for too long, as they quickly develop roots. They have a great love of plants and are the type to become passionate about a particular subject.

Lisa's skin began to take on an extremely pale green hue. Then two yellow flowers appeared on each temporal lobe. Small white flowers descended along her hair which transformed into stems and vines. The overall appearance was frankly astonishing.

“Acacia flowers?” Susan wondered.

"I thought you were a computer geek. How do you know about this stuff?" Jeanne wondered.

"You'd be surprised what you can learn on the internet, but in this case it's just that we have an acacia tree in the garden at home. I guess I'd have to use the past tense," Susan said.

"Susan, since you want to participate, here is your transformation. You wanted to avoid becoming a goth, well the audience disagrees with you." announced the host.

Vampire nobility: It was decided that the participants couldn't remain human. So, here's the second proposal to replace part of humanity, the vampires. Let's be perfectly clear: the sun doesn't reduce vampires to ashes. However, it is true that they are more tired during the day than at night. They feed on the blood of any living creature such as mosquitoes. Drinking blood gives the vampire and her victim immense pleasure. They only consume about ½ liter a day. They're always polite

The only visible effect of the transformation was a slight pallor in Susan. Her skin appeared whiter.

"Susan, my baby. Are you okay?" Lily asked worriedly.

"I'm fine, mother. Thank you for your concern," said the young woman.

"Mother?" Lily asked in surprise.

"And we are seeing the first effects of Susan's transformation. But it would be a shame to transform the daughter and not transform the mother. Let's fix that." said the pink-haired Leprechaun.

Maternal as a Cowgirl: It was decided that participants couldn't remain human. So, here's the second proposal to replace part of humanity, the cowgirls. Cowgirls have very different physical characteristics, depending on their gender. The men, called Minotaurs, have great physical strength and average 2.20 m in height. However, their intelligence is lower than that of female cowgirls. Both sexes have horns on their heads, although the males are more developed. The main characteristic of a Cowgirl is the size of her breasts (at least a G cup), which suckle from the onset of puberty.

Lily's changes, unlike her daughter's, were significant. First, Lily went from 1.60m to at least 1.80m. This was accompanied by an even greater growth in Lily's chest, which must have stopped growing at about a I cup (although Arthur admitted he had trouble being certain).

Lily's blouse had been kind enough to get bigger with it, even though her bra had probably disappeared given how visible her nipples were through her clothes. The transformation ended with 2 small horns sprouting from the top of the teacher's skull.

"Well with boobs like that it shouldn't be too hard to get Arthur's attention." exclaimed the brand-new Leprechaun.

Arthur was doing his best not to ogle the bust of the one who was his teacher. It was quite funny considering he was much less hesitant when he was a student.

"Violet, is your name Violet? Stop bothering her, it's already intense enough as it is." Felicity said before checking on Lily.

"You're right, it's important that you stick together. Is that the reason the audience decided you'd make a perfect Amazon?" Nola wondered.

Brave as an Amazon: It was decided that participants could not remain human. So, here's the first proposal to replace a part of humanity, the Amazons. For a young woman who doesn't hesitate to throw herself into the flames to save people, what could be better than to become an Amazon? This female people resemble human beings, but there are significant differences. I'm not talking about their tattoos or their taste for combat. No, the major difference is warrior honor. An Amazon must defend her honour and that of her spouse.

The transformation had no visible effect, much to Violet's regret. Felicity was already very muscular, and her clothes probably hid the tattoos she had just acquired.

"I figured I'd get this one. Let's move on if you don't mind Nola." Felicity replied, still focused on Lily.

"And we move on to Victoria you wanted to become a giantess, but the audience found you too submissive to your sister for that and so gave you an appropriate transformation." Nola announced

Serving as a Kobold: It was decided that participants couldn't remain human. So, here's the second proposal to replace part of humanity, the Kobolds. Kobolds are docile and friendly. They like to obey orders, but only from those they consider their masters. In appearance, they're halfway between dog and man. They have Dog ears and tail.

Like Jeanne's transformation, Victoria was soon given new dog ears and a bushy tail.

Arthur reflected that she reminded him of his grandparents' shiba inu.

"But why couldn't I become a giant? I could have broken Olympic records." Victoria complains, more disappointed at not having received the other transformation than at the consequences of her transformation.

"Oh don't worry even as a doggirl you will still have the opportunity to perform feats of athletic performance. Now I saved the best for last Sophia. Do you have any idea what awaits you?" Nola asked.

"What's going to happen, will happen. I have no control over what's going to happen to me just as I have no way of stopping the sun from rising or the rain from falling. So, if I can't do anything, why bother?" the prosecutor replied.

"A neutral and pseudo-philosophical answer. Let's see if this transformation frees your emotions." said the Leprechaun.

Dragon's wrath: It was decided that the participants couldn't remain human. So here comes the second proposal to replace part of humanity, the dragonnoids. Halfway between dragon and human come the dragonnoids. Average height 2m. Aggressive tendency. Tsundere guaranteed. Horns on the head. Wings with scales on the back. And a scaly tail on her back. Here's a good summary of a dragonnoid, or more precisely in Sophia's case, a dragongirl.

The transformation was probably one of the most intense. First Sophia grew 25 cm, reaching 2 m in height. Two pointed horns sprouted from her head, followed by two large wings on her back. The whole thing was completed by a long tail reminiscent of a lizard that came out of Sophia's dress. Because yes, her blouse and pants set had transformed into a dress, probably to prevent her clothes from tearing when her wings appeared.

Despite all these changes, what shocked Arthur the most was the change in his exgirlfriend's gestures. Sophia was clenching her fists tightly and seemed particularly tense.

"And that concludes this first transformation session. I will now talk to you about Bonus Points." Nola announced.
