after a few weeks

I had to squeeze my knees so hard it hurt to stop from jumping up and down. it had taken three weeks, but I finally got into the system that controls the hard override. I failed to stop the smirk that appeared on my face as the system controlled several other key systems as well.

I don't know what idiot decided to tie a self-destruct system into it was a good idea, but they did. it even showed where the explosives were that would level the base. I wondered for a moment why that was not in the security system before I found the answer. only four people at any time would have access to this system. Guess that is why it also has the ability to set off a small explosive on everyone's key card.

"They are going to regret that," I say in my head. everyone's keycard exploding would be one hell of a distraction.

"Indeed," said the Fox. "It should also take out quite a few of them since they wear it near their hearts.

"I bet that is policy for just that purpose," I say. my eyes then glance at the sleeping matt.

"You should leave him behind," said the fox. "The human puppet would just be dead weight."

"He did not deserve that to happen to him," I say.

"While even I pity him," said the fox. "The best thing you could do is put him out of his misery. the mind is already gone it is time for the body to join it."

I bit my lip knowing the fox was right. if I did not return to Konoha then there was nothing she could do to help him. not to mention him following all orders may cause issues during the escape. also, a part of her wonders if there is an order in his head to stop such an attempt.

shaking her head she slowly leaves the systems making sure not to leave any trace that she was in there. she still has some planning to do, and she will decide his fate when she escapes.
