a browser-based scrabble clone to aid in writing 'words with fiends'

a while back I mentioned that I got sidetracked on writing off this thread, because I wanted an easier way to simulate the games. well, a little over a week later, here it is.

a scrabble clone made in godot engine, playable in your browser. It was a fun learning experience. It's not feature complete, but it's got what you would need to play the game for the purpose of writing a 'words with fiends' story. for a board which mimics the one from Ggnt's spreadsheet, select 'fiendish 9x9' on the start menu.

Theres a few things I still want to add, not least of which is actual end-game conditions (as it stands, the game doesnt end on its own. you'll need to just know to stop playing at the appropriate time) and a board editor. behind the scenes, the game supports a wide variety of board layouts, but putting them together is tedious, so Ive just included a few.

feel free to comment on this chapter or on itch with problems or feature requests, although i do not promise to fix or address them with any sort of promptness.

I'm still not sure if I will write my own words with fiends spin-off, but its on the table for sure.
