Yuto talks about what he does with Yuria

Yuto sits on the couch for awhile, thinking to himself about the question. "Well," He finally says, "Yuria and I get along mostly just because we spend time together. It doesn't even really matter what we're doing." Shiori listens to every word with rapt attention. "We'll do things like go to the movies, take walks, eat out at restaurants together, visit the zoo, play games, or whatever we want, really. We sort of just bond with each other regardless of what we're doing , as long as we do it together."

Shiori sat and thought for a bit, then said with a chuckle, "It feels like the only thing Ieyasu and I do together nowadays is have sex." She smiled to herself for a bit, but slowly the smile sank as she thought about her own words. She let out a sigh.

Seeing the effect the conversation was having on her, Yuto decided to help with some genuine advice, "Sex is great, but there needs to be more than that. It's one thing to be attracted to one another, but it's another to actually love each other. Maybe you should try pushing him to hang out with you more? I'm sure the two of you could have a great time together." At these words, Shiori played with her hair and thought for a moment.

She sighed again and said, "I've tried cooking food and having a romantic dinner with him once, but he didn't seem all that interested. He just told me to leave some for him to eat later, and went outside and smoked. He isn't too keen on going many places with me either, other than occasional clubs or parties with friends of his." Shiori sat twirling her hair for a few moments than said "Agh, why are we even talking about this! It's too early to get all mopey and sad!"

Her usual cheer came back, and she stretched, letting her legs play across Yuto's lap. "Besides, what type of idiot would I be to take relationship advice from a loser like you, huh?" Yuto barely even noticed her teasing. His annoyance flared up as he reminded himself who he was trying to help. Shiori stood up and said "Still though, you've given me a lot to think about, so thanks."

"Whatever. I don't know why I even said anything to begin with." At these words, Shiori's bright mood was sobered a bit, and she sat back down and gave Yuto a tight hug.

"I really mean it. Thanks for everything you said. It's given me a lot to think about, and I really appreciate it." Her voice was still happy, but softer than what Yuto was used to. He decided she was probably being genuine, and returned the hug. "Any time, Shiori." She roughly pushed herself up with a huge grin on her face and said "Welp! It's about time I go steal your breakfast. Just keep sitting there for a few more minutes, lazy bones! Your sausage shall be mine!" She let out an exaggerated evil laugh and started to run off towards the kitchen. Before she went, she turned around and gave Yuto a friendly grin.

Yuto sat and thought about the conversation they just had. Perhaps Shiori wasn't as bad as he thought after all? It can be hard to tell what she's actually thinking, sometimes. After contemplating for awhile, Yuto decided to move on with his day.
