You look up at a man who you instinctively recognise as your partner, Ash. He stands at 5’8, has broad shoulders and a bit of a beer gut. Dressed in a black t-shirt, jeans and sneakers.

Ash thumbs through the book, smirking as he goes. You don’t know what he’s reading. Clicking his finger at you he points to the pencil in front of you. Picking it up you hand it to him.

He scribbles for a moment and then you see his eyes dart around the room.

You can feel the universe shudder and pause again.

Ash grins at you as he looks you up and down.

“What is it honey?” You ask sincerely, looking behind you in case he was looking at something behind you.

“Nothing babe, just admiring the view.” He smirked.
