Chapter 4

The Second One
How do they respond?
Your Only Weakness
"Hold on, Jonah, I know this fight. You need to distract him while I light up the chandelier up there!" Gianna yelled, pointing at the aforementioned light. "It'll just take a moment!"
You scowled again. This bitch knew her strategies! That damn chandelier was a popular way of dealing with you, as you grew weaker in the light. Of course, this girl had to be a Priestess of Helia, meaning she could just conjure some flames and light chandelier up almost instantly.
Sure enough, the Paladin hefted his shield and sword and charged, roaring praises to some god of order or something to that effect while the Priestess conjured a roaring fireball.
You backstepped the Paladins first swing, before casting 'Illusion of Madness' on the Priestess. She yowled in surprise when her fireball fizzled out of existence. You ran a calculation through your head. Helian Fireball took 25 MP to cast, and she was level ten. Unless she hadn't levelled her MP at all, she would only be unable to cast it for a few seconds.
You pressed your advantage, casting 'Illusion of Fatigue' on the Paladin, who's charge ground to more of a light jog as a quarter of his already low agility stat disappeared. Then it was your turn to strike.
Who do you target?

Game Monster
From Creep to Boss
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
