Your Mission.

Now that your leg is back in shape, you feel prepared to explore. You look at Everleigh.

“Do you remember anything?”

She frowns. “I don’t really think so, I think my cryo-thaw had just started. I heard some really loud noises, and it seemed very bright outside my pod, but I don’t remember anything else until you woke me up.

You remember that the computer informed you about waking up among the first. Maybe that’s why you had a few minutes awake before the ship’s disaster.

Your watch beeps again. And so does your sister’s.

You both look down, and then at eachother.

“How many people do you think are alive?” She asks, tears starting to form in the corners of her eyes.

She’s always been emotional. You were a constant voice of reason to her growing up. She trusts you more than anyone. This is going to take a massive toll on her, you need to make sure she knows how important survival is.

“I don’t know, Leigh.” You say, looking down at her, unsure at what to say.

Your watches beep again in unison.

You flick your wrist up, and hold the watch in front of your chest. A holographic display fizzles into view. You see a gold marker, similar to the one that lead you to this crash site, pointing at something it lists as “4.7 km away”.

You look down to your sister.

“Up for a hike?”

She looks up at you confidently.

“Let’s get to it.”
