Chapter 516 by BreaktheBar BreaktheBar

What's next?

Your Girls on their Date. Talking. (Dun dun DUUUNNN)

“She’s about to put the moves on him,” Gemma said, smiling as she put her phone back in her purse.

Sabrina chuckled and took a sip of her water, batting her lashes at Gemma from across the table. The restaurant wasn’t the fanciest in the city - she’d tried to get a table there and found out it was booked eight months in advance - but it was probably the fanciest place either of them had ever eaten. Sabrina had dressed up in a new dress, a sleek and sexy dark blue backless number that she knew would have John dropping his jaw. Gemma had been equally as amazed by the dress, and Sabrina had been thrilled by the reaction.

The blonde, meanwhile, had donned the dress that Sabrina had bought her earlier in the summer when she’d played ‘Sugar Mommy’ while buying John the start of his new wardrobe. It looked as stunning on her as it had in the store - maybe even more now since Gemma had done her hair in an asymmetrical cascade over her one shoulder.

“Let’s hope his dick doesn’t break,” Sabrina said.

“I was more thinking let’s hope they don’t get caught, but that works too,” Gemma smirked.

“Have I mentioned that I love you?” Sabrina asked.

“Once or twice, love,” Gemma said, giving her a look across the table that made the butterflies flutter in Sabrina’s stomach.

“Honestly, baby, I know it’s usually John who puts how wild our lives are, and how big the changes have been, into words. And how lucky he feels. But I want you to know that I feel extremely lucky to have you as… well, as my best friend, and my girlfriend, and my partner.”

Gemma’s look turned a little more tender and she reached across the table to take Sabrina’s hand. “I don’t know if any one of us could say whose life has changed the most, but I’m super goddamn thankful for you too, Sabrina. Honestly, I feel like you even more than John have helped me figure out my self-identity and crystalize it. I’m queer, which explains… so much.” She chuckled, shaking her head. “Like, before this summer I never even thought I was attracted to women. Now I’m in a relationship with the sexiest woman I know, sharing the best boy ever with her, and I’ve had more wild and loving experiences than any one person probably deserves. I fucking love you.”

“I fucking love you too,” Sabrina grinned.

The waitress came back around to deliver their entrees, and they took a few minutes to ooh and aah over them, trading little pieces to try the different flavours, until finally they settled into eating. Well, after Sabrina had slipped off her heel and used the cover of the long tablecloth to slide her foot up Gemma’s leg and then rest it between her thighs. She wasn’t teasing her girlfriend’s pussy since the place was way too nice to do that, but just the skin-on-skin connection felt like an illicit thrill.

“OK, part of the reason I wanted this date was just to love on each other,” Gemma eventually said, pivoting the conversation. “But the other part is I wanted time to talk to you, just the two of us, about the future.”

“Alright,” Sabrina said. “I assume you’re doing the same with John?”

“Of course,” Gemma said. “I want us all to have a chance to have our own thoughts about this. I already got John thinking about some of it since he’d take longer to brew on it.”

“Makes sense,” Sabrina nodded.

“Obviously a lot of this is already happening, but the first thing I want to make clear is that I’m jealous but super happy that you two are living together for the school year. I wish I could be with you, but I’m not mad that I can’t be,” Gemma said.

“I wish you could be here too,” Sabrina said. “Is there really no way you could maybe, like, transfer schools?”

Gemma frowned and sighed. “No, and I did actually look into it. I can’t get approval without losing a whole year's worth of credits, which would mean another year of school to graduate. Not to mention the massive expense.”

“Mm,” Sabrina grunted. “OK.”

“We’ll handle long-distance,” Gemma assured her. “Video calls all the time. And we can do study dates remotely. And John’s going to come be my wedding date in December - which, by the way, I’m so fucking sorry that I can’t bring you too. My family just-”

“No, baby, don’t apologise,” Sabrina said quickly. “I’m going to miss the hell out of you and I’d be there in a snap, but I get it. Not your wedding, not your party, not your place to stir up potential drama.”

“I love you,” Gemma sighed.

“Honestly, Gemma, the only thing we really need to decide is law school unless you want to backtrack on the ‘who we can sleep with’ decisions from our last relationship check-in,” Sabrina said. “Are you? Has anything changed as your leaving gets closer?”

“No, and I’ll let you know if it does,” Gemma assured her. “Properly vetted professionals are A-OK with me, as is everyone we’ve already done stuff with. Other people who might come up… well, I'm counting on you to not let anyone crazy get her sights set on John. And please, dear lord, protect him from picking up an STD.”

Sabrina chuckled a little. “Will do.”

“So you’re right, as usual. Law School is really the big question we need to tackle. Do we want to go here in the US or in Australia?” Gemma mused. “Both have their upsides, but if we’re being real, wherever we go is the country where we probably settle down.”

“I know,” Sabrina said. “And I’m split, honestly. I don’t want to pull you away from your entire family to come here to the States, but then I also would miss Katherine like crazy, not to mention the rest of my family.”

“Same,” Gemma sighed. “And John’s parents, and his friends from school. Not to mention we’d be closer to our new friends here in the States.”

“But there are always new friends to be made, and Australia is your home,” Sabrina said. She took a breath and shrugged. “We don’t need to decide now, just before we start applying to schools.”

“That’s sooner than later,” Gemma grimaced.

“We’ll figure it out, baby,” Sabrina said. “I promise. It’ll all work out.”

“I know, and thank you.”

“I have another question for you though,” Sabrina said.

“What’s that?”

“How do you look this fucking sexy? Cause damn girl, I want to go full cavewoman and throw you over my shoulder and carry you home.”

Gemma snorted, ducking to try and suppress her reaction from the rest of the restaurant. “Sabrina,” she scolded her in a whisper.

“Want me to climb under the table, Gemma?” Sabrina asked quietly with a lascivious smile.

“Yes,” Gemma said. “But don’t.”

“Ugh, tease,” Sabrina chuckled.

Gemma looked around for a moment and shook her head, then sighed. “Follow me in two minutes,” she said. “Needy little slut.” She stood up from the table and headed for the ladies’ room.

Sabrina grinned to herself, knowing that Gemma would already be getting horny. They might not have had John with them for the night, but they could have more than enough fun without him for one night.
