You wake up in the morning

You wake up to the sun. Your class today is in the afternoon but you check your email to see if there are any updates on Professor Miles. Indeed, something is sitting in your inbox from the Dean of the School of Art. There are some pleasantries in there but the part that matters reads as follows:

"As you know, Professor Hunt had a medical episode during class. I am told he is at home and recovering well, but will not return in time for Friday's classes. You rejoice as you kind of hate that class and definitely hate the professor. The anxiety of what might happen during these classes also slips away from you. You text Eve if she's seen the email and ask if she wants to hang out today. She replies rather quickly.
