You wake up from your daydream

As the sun began to set behind the tranquil Italian village, Nereus sat huddled under a tattered blanket, his empty cup resting dejectedly in front of him. He begged for any spare change from the passersby, his destitute state a far cry from the divine creature he once was. Nereus had lost everything: his home, his family, his entire way of life. It was all due to one curse that his father, Zeus, had laid upon him.

That curse had been a **** sentence for Nereus, stripping him of his immortal powers and dooming him to a life of poverty and despair. The mere thought of Zeus and his family filled him with a burning hatred, casting him out and leaving him to suffer. But it was the hatred he felt towards himself that was even more intense. He had been blessed with everything a person could wish for, and yet he had squandered it all away with his own foolishness.

As Nereus sat there, lost in his thoughts, a stranger walked by and paused for a moment to throw a coin into his cup. Nereus felt a sense of gratitude towards this kind stranger, even as his heart ached with the weight of his own failure.

As the night fell, and his few coins brought no relief from his suffering, Nereus's mind turned to thoughts of ****. He may have been powerless and alone, but he would not be defeated. Nereus would find a way to lift the curse and reclaim his place among the gods, no matter the cost.

As Nereus lay there, staring up at the stars, he knew that his journey would be long and arduous, but he was determined to see it through. He would not rest until he had avenged himself and reclaimed his rightful place among the immortals
