You try a different approach

"It doesn't have to be a battle between good and evil, Inigo," you interjected as you felt that Kyle's strategy wasn't working. You hoped that by calling him by his name, he would soften a bit and be more open to your arguments. Sensing that he is slightly more receptive, you added, "You have to look at the core principles, Inigo. By being a **** and serving your fellow man, you're improving the lives of others. Being a sex ****, a gay one at that, is not a sin, Inigo. It's a vocation. It's a calling."

You were lying it on a bit thick, but you hoped that both Kyle and Inigo would understand what you were trying to say. It was a different way of looking at things and one that would hopefully make it easier for Inigo to accept. And based on the small, but noticeable twitch and jump in his pants and his shiver at the word 'calling', you could see that your approach was starting to work.

"A calling? W-w-what if it's not, Master?", asked Inigo as tears formed in the corner of his eyes and his bottom lip quivered, "I-Is God this cruel?"

"Only if you're willing to let Them be. God will never be this cruel to someone as kind and as gracious as you, Inigo," you continued your argument, careful to not offend his sense of morals and beliefs, "Perhaps you are right. This is a test - a time where you must overcome and harness your hidden talents. If there is even a small chance that we are correct, what are you going to do?"

As you continued the conversation, you could hear faint sniffles. Glancing his way, you could see a trail of snot traveling from Inigo's button nose to his upper lip. You could also see his red-rimmed eyes glisten with tearful hope and want. Watching those lashes drip droplets, you notice for the first time how long they were.

"But what if you're wrong, sir?"

"That's a risk you'll need to decide if you want to take or not, Inigo," you reminded him sincerely, "You can spend the rest of your life questioning the choices you've made, or you can take charge and embrace all the good that being a **** would bring you."

"All I ask of you is to open up to the world, Inigo," Kyle broke in with a calm but optimistic smile. He was surprised at how well your alternative approach was working. It was clear that Inigo's defenses were now starting to crumble. Now, Kyle needed to help you bring it home.

"I think you'd like that, Inigo," Kyle gently said as the young **** sobbed and gulped, "Imagine the sights, sounds, and the experiences. Can't you just taste the thrill? Excitement? Come on, be honest with us and with yourself."
