The atmosphere was very subdued as you drove back to your side of the city. Lilies mother was at St. Johns hospital. The drive back was an hour and a half instead of the usual 45 minutes because of rush hour. Fighting your way through traffic, you eventually arrive at the hospital.

The three of you enter the hospitals main entrance. Off to the left next to the entrace was a counter. Seated there were four kind looking older women who were hospital volunteers.

Letting lili take the lead, she approaches the woman who asks her,"Good afternoon. Is there anything I can help you with, honey?"

Lili nods, saying,"I'm here to visit my mother, Sunyi Lee. Would you know what room she is in?"

One of the ladies types something into a tablet she has saying,"Okay, here we are, Sunyi Lee. She's in 465 window."

The volunteer points over to some elevators about 50 feet away. "If you take those to the fourth floor, you'll find the nurses station right there."

Lili weakly smiled, saying,"Thank you."

Walking over, you punch the buttons summoning an elevator. The doors open, and you stand back as a nurse pushing a person on a wheelchair gets off. Once clear, you three pile into the elevator punching 4. You could see the anxiousness built in Lili with every floor. Getting off the elevator, you look around and see that 465 was left down the hall.

Halfway down the hallway, Lili abruptly turned to you and Beth. You could hear the tears in her voice as she asked,"Please, could you both come in with me."

Placing your hand on her shoulder, you say,"Of course, sweetie, there's no need to ask." Beth Anne says the same thing, and you see it steady her nerves. Lili takes a deep breath,"Okay, let's do this," then enters the room.

It was quiet when you entered the room. You saw the bed closest to the door was empty. Passing it, Lili approached her mother. You could see the massive bruise that covered the left side of her face where her husband had struck her. Her nose was covered in white guaze to help stabalize the broken bone.

Lili gripped the hospital beds side rail her knuckles white. In a choked voice, she whispered,"Eomeoni."

He mothers eyes opened, blinking several times before finding her daughter. Raising her hand, she touched Lilies arm, saying,"Lili..."

Lili broke tears running down her cheeks it an aguished tone she sobbed,"Mom im soo sorry..."

Sunyi tiredly sighed,"No lili this is not your fault. For too long I failed you..."

Lili gasped," No, mom.."

"No daughter,"Sunyi interjected. "I did not stand up for you against your fathers expectations or his notions that you had no will but his."

Lili breaks down into tears as Sunyi turns her attention to you. "Thanks you Mr.Clarkson for taking her in last night for trying to do what I failed to do."

"I only did what any decent person would do."you say ignoring the fact your fucking her daughter.

"What now," you ask her.

Sunyi swallows gathering her thought before saying,"A DA has already talked with me. Monday when Jae is arraigned they will issue a protective order."

You nod but Lili asks," Will he follow it."

Sunyi shakes her head,"No he wont, order or not Jae would rather die that let White justice interfere with his household."

"The police will help," you assure her.

"I told the DA that Jae will come. But before now my husband has no record it will be almost impossible to deny bail."

Stepping forward you volunteer,"What can I do to help."

Sunyi thought about it before telling you,"we need to leave. Jae broke our trust. I followed his lead. I served his needs. But if he finds me im scared hell..."

You come to the realization that Sunyi was her husbands submissive. You looked at lili who looked like she was on the verge of collapse and came to a decisions that could boomerang on you big time.

"Mrs.Lee I have a four bedroom house and except for my niece I live alone. Move in with me just for awhile while you get on you feet and figure out what a life seperate from your husband even looks like."

Sunyies voice quavers as she replies," No that is too much of an inpo..."

"Please mom," lili interjected.

Sunyi quiets for several heartbeats before saying,"Very well I'll do this for you Lili."

You look over at Beth Anne and mouth Jennifer. Nodding she pulls out her phone her fingers flying over the screen as she begins texting.

You take a back seat as Lili and her mother speak in low tones. After a few minutes Beth Anne looks up from her screen nodding towards the hallway.

You follow her out of the room, and once your far enough away she tells you,"Okay Jens called in the favor from the football team and Doug and Howie are available after church gets out at one."

"Good, ill..," you stop when you hear Sunyi call out,"Don't forget the photos."

A moment later a red eyed lili comes out of the hospial room. Opening your arms the teen walks into you hug.

"Everything will be alright I promise," you whisper into her hair.

Nodding she steps back saying,"I sorry daddy I can't stay tonight I need to start packing."

Beth Anne steps up saying,"I'll come over an help." Seeing Lili **** up Beth Anne tres to lighten the mood saying,"hey thats what friends and harem mates are for."

The three of you make for the car. Just after you pass through the main hospital entrance Lili turned to you asking,'Before you drop us off can you put on the collar on me."

Looking into her deep brown eyes you ask,"Are you sure?"

Lili nods saying,"Yes."

The drive back to the house went fairly quick and you were pulling into the driveway at 5:48pm.

Turnig off the engine you run over unlocking to front door. Looking quickly inside you saw that Krystal wasn't home yet. Heading back to the car you then pop the trunk. Quickly you and the girls grab the bags carrying them into the room she "slept in," stashing the in the closet.

Lili hands you the bag from Sinners Sanctum which you open up retrieving the eternity collar. Taking it out of the packaging you quietly order,"Kneel in the bed your back to me. Then lift up your hair baring your neck."

Doing as your ordered you step up behind her. Extracting the collar from its packaging you ask one last time.

Lil shivered but her tone was clear as she declared,"I belong to you. The collar is only a formality please put it on me." You place the collar, the symbol of your ownership around her slender throat. Pressng the male part into the female parts of the lock you as the faint click.
