You make her believe she was your spy

Hawkgirl was cornered, while the rest of the Justice League (if you could call it that) we’re safe and hiding at the rendezvous point, she had just happened to have picked up two followers, Fire and Ice whom were fanatically **** to capture her. They had chased her all the way to the Grand Canyon from the enhancement clinic she had attacked.

As she was flying she saw a cave in the canyon that was her only hope of escaping the two, diving she sped into the cave. As she could hear the two superheroines fly overhead she knew she'd lost them.

"They're only gone because I ordered them to go" another voice said... male. There was only one male.

Instantly she swung her mace towards the voice though she missed completely.

“Easy Hawkgirl, it’s alright, you don’t need to keep up the act” he said calmly causing her to become confused.

“Act?” she questioned, stopping momentarily.

“Yes don’t you remember, you were sent as a spy into Huntresses ranks at my request. You’ve always been my spy ever since you fell in love with me” he said causing Hawkgirl to remember slightly. He was right but still there were gaps in her memory what else happened she wondered.
