You lie: there isn't any

You don’t move.

Instead, you look her up and down slowly, then meet her eyes.

“There’s only one towel,” you say calmly. “And Alicia already took it.”

Kristen’s eyes widen slightly. She glances toward the bathroom door, where she can still hear the shower running and the other two girls talking.

You continue before she can say anything.

“The cabin’s still pretty warm though,” you add, voice casual. “It won’t take long for you to dry off naturally.”

Kristen’s face goes bright red. She looks down at herself for a second, then back up at you. She doesn’t argue. She just stands there, naked and dripping, arms hanging awkwardly at her sides like she’s not sure whether to try covering herself or not.

From the bathroom, you hear Alicia laugh at something Kelly said. The shower is still running.

Kristen bites her lip and shifts again, water continuing to trail down her body. She’s clearly flustered, but she’s not moving to grab something to cover herself either. She just stands there, letting you look at her while she slowly starts to dry in the warm air.

After a few seconds, she speaks again, voice even softer than before.

“…You did that on purpose, didn’t you?”

She doesn’t sound angry. If anything, there’s a nervous, almost excited edge to her voice.

You don’t answer right away. You just keep looking at her.

Kristen swallows, then glances toward the couch like she’s considering sitting down, but she stays standing.

The shower finally turns off in the bathroom. A moment later, the door opens wider and Alicia steps out, completely naked and using your towel to dry her hair. Kelly is still inside, rinsing off.

Alicia stops when she sees Kristen standing there naked and dripping, then looks at you.

She raises an eyebrow, clearly putting the pieces together.

“Well,” she says, smirking as she continues drying herself with your towel. “This just got interesting.”
