You hug Lex

You knew the consequences, but dang it! You couldn’t bare seeing your crush like this! Turning around to face her, you immediately wrap your arms around Lex, embracing her into a hug. From the small squeak she made, you could tell that it took her by surprise. After a few seconds, however, you felt her arms wrap around you as she returned the hug.

“I’m sorry, Lex.” You say with a whisper, “I shouldn’t’ve said – “

“No, it’s alright.” Lex interrupted with a sigh. “There was no way you could’ve possibly known, Sam. I just don’t like talking about it, is all.”

The two of you look into each other’s faces, your eyes making contact with her beautiful green pools for several seconds. During this time, the both of you completely forget about your nudity… at least, until you see Lex blush scarlet before looking down. You follow her gaze as you see that, much to your humiliation, your hard manhood is indeed making contact with her bare leg. Your face ignited.

“L-Lex!” you stammered, “I am so sorry! I didn’t mean to – I’m not trying – This isn’t – I’m…”

“I-It’s okay, Sam.” Lex stammered back in response. “It’s a perfectly normal reaction to a situation like this. This would’ve happened if you were trapped naked with any girl in a small shed.”

“Well it wouldn’t be half this hard if it was anyone other than you! Don’t you have any idea how beautiful you are?!”

The words left your mouth before your brain had any chance of registering what you just said. Your mouth instantly closes shut as you blush hard and see the shocked expression on her face.

“You…” Lex whispered, “You really think I’m beautiful?”

You stood there speechless, unable to utter a single word. After a few seconds, you finally gulp before nodding your head.

"And you're not just saying that because we're both standing here, tightly pressed up against one another, and completely naked in the groundskeeper's shed?" Lex asks, a twinkle of what you believed was hope in her eyes.

"I'm serious, Lex." You say, with no hint of a lie in your voice. "You're one of the most beautiful girls I've ever met, I swear. You're smart, you're kind, you're funny, you’re talented, you're fun to be around, you have an amazing laugh. To me, you're beautiful, inside and out. You're just... Just beautiful."

Lex's bright green eyes looked into yours, and you swear that you would've sworn that she melted a little bit. You felt your face get hot, as your heart raced. You did everything but flat out admit that you had a crush on her since Sophomore Year. As she remains quiet for a little while longer, you sigh and close your eyes as you hang your head and waited for a response.

You expected her to laugh at you, either thinking you were joking or were beyond pathetic to have a chance with her. You expected her to think that you were just being a creep and slap you across the face, yelling that the friendship you had with her just died. And best case scenario, you expected her to say that she wasn’t interested in a relationship with you, preferring to remain friends.

However, what came out of her mouth instead was the absolute last thing you expected.

“Sam?” Lex asked, nervousness in her voice. You look up and open your eyes to see Lex giving off an embarrassed and shy smile as she rubbed her arm, looking to the side before making eye contact with you again. “Can I… Can I… k-kiss you?”

Your eyes almost popped right out of your head. What did Lex, the girl who was standing in front of you, who was just as naked as you, and who you have had a crush on for half your high school years, just ask?!

“Um…”

“Oh crud! Was that too forward?” Lex suddenly asked, her face igniting in mortification. Letting out a whimper, she said, “What am I saying? Of course it was too forward! I must look like a complete idiot right now!”

“Lex…” You begin softly, but she interrupts you.

"No, I mean it, Sam! I'm an idiot! I really like you, and you may think I'm beautiful, but that doesn't mean I should be kissing you! Especially with the both of us being butt naked in a cramped shed right now."

"Oh." You say with a stammer. "Well, then, why did you ask?"

Lex chews on her bottom lip before softly replying, "Because I want you to think of me as more than just a friend."

"I-I d-don't –" You stammered. But in reality, you knew exactly what Lex was saying. The girl you had been crushing on for years but were too much of a coward to even say it to her face... She liked you back.

"Sam, please. Just say it. Do you mean it? Are you absolutely sure?"

"I do. I really like you, Lex, and I'd like to be more than friends with you." There, you said it. The words you had been holding in for years, words you had been afraid to say for fear of being laughed at or embarrassed, finally came out.

And no sooner had you said that did Lex bring her lips crashing onto yours, a shiver running up your spine as you felt a spark. And judging from the shivering from Lex, you saw that she felt the exact same spark.
