You find a destroyed village

after walking for pretty much all afternoon, you find nothing but wildlife

Cloud: oh come on, we still haven't found any hint of where they were taken

Aiden: what did you expect, a trail of breadcrumbs to their location

Your joke makes the girl laugh

Cloud: what the hell are you laughing at

Tifa: don't worry Cloud, Aiden just made a funny joke

Byleth: yeah we're totally not laughing at you

Jessie: don't lie to him, we totally are making fun of him

Byleth: I was being sarcastic

Jessie: Were you?

Aerith: alright guys enough it was just a little joke

Aiden: yeah no need to get butthurt over it

Jessie laughing again

Aiden: what's so funny

You notice that Cloud and Tifa are glaring at Jessie, almost like they want to make sure she doesn't tell something

Jessie: it's an insight joke, you wouldn't understand

Aiden: alright

after a couple of hours, you stumble at what looks like a destroyed village with a warning sign at the entrance

Tifa: what happened here

Aerith: I don't know, but everything is destroyed

Cloud: guess the great empress Sindell can't even protect her own people

Aiden: you think this is funny

Cloud: yeah I do

Aiden: show some respect, I doubt the people here left voluntarily, if they had a chance to leave

Tifa: let's check out the village, maybe there are some survivors

Cloud: What why

Jessie: they might know where our client's family was taken

Cloud: ugh fine

You all start looking around the village for any clue of what happened

Tifa and Cloud are looking inside a house

Cloud: is this gonna take much longer

Tifa: show some compassion, I expect more from you, Cloud

Tifa: we both know what it's like to have our home destroyed

Cloud: demons destroyed our home

Tifa: yeah, and the same could have happened here

Cloud: Demons didn't do this, there would be nothing left if that was the case

Tifa: Cloud, listen to me

Before Tifa can speak another word something jumps out and takes them both by surprise

In front of them stands a human man with razor sharp teeth and spikes coming out of his body, he roars at them and a giant blade comes out of both his arms, he jumps towards Tifa trying to cut her

Tifa tries to dodge the attack, but she is unable to get away fast enough

Tifa: CLOUD HELP

Cloud is still busy getting his big as sword out of his inventory and is unable to help her in time

just as the blade is about to cut her, a whip sword comes out of nowhere and cuts the freak in half

Aiden: you two okay

You come running in with the SWORD OF THE CREATOR in your hand

Tifa: yeah I'm fine thank you

Cloud: we had it covered

Aiden: no you hadn't, Tifa could have gone seriously hurt, if I didn't step in

Tifa: Aiden is right, I let my guard down

Aiden: it's okay it happens

You notice Cloud's giant sword

Aiden: wow, are you overcompensating for something

Cloud: you little

Jessie: GUYS WE HAVE A PROBLEM

You three ran out of the house and noticed that both parties are surrounded by more of those freaks

Aerith: there everywhere

Mash: we at least now know what happened to the village

Byleth: did they kill the residents or are they the residents

Jessie: let's deal with them first

Aiden: hey cloud

Cloud: what

Aiden: still wanna prove that you're better than me

Cloud: what are you suggesting

Aiden: let's see who can take out more

Cloud: you're on

Tifa: is this really the time

Aiden and Cloud: it is
