You better stop for now. The magic exhausts you

After the incidence with Daniel, the lesson went on quiet boring. You listened to Mrs. Marlow as good as possible and answered a question when getting asked. But mostly your thoughts circle around Sarah and the mystery book. You have so many questions. When magic is real, could it be real, what else is possible? Which legends and secrets are not so far from the true? And what has Sarah to do with it? Is she a witch? You never noticed anything strange about her. Of course, you could search in her behavior for prove, but this would be rather wishing than real research.

Since you already casted some spells and feel a little dizzy and a headache from the lack of energy, you head to the kiosk as soon as the lesson ends. You need something to eat and drink. A sandwich and some juice should do fine. It helps a little with your exhaustion, but not very much.

While you eat, you listen a little to your schoolmates’ banter. The top story of the day is Jack smuggling firework in the school. You already forgot about your argument in the morning. And at least some girls chat about Megan, who was seen enter the first aid room with a big but harmless bruise around her private parts. The girls consider her to have tried some wired sex thing and laugh.

The last two classes you have social studies. One of the easiest subjects that almost everyone passes, but the teacher, Mr. Bishop, is known to be a rather boring guy. Well, at least he is not mean or unfair to the students like Miss Pox. The good thing is, that you can recover while Mr. Bishop holds his lecture about the influence of whatever to something nobody is interested in.

Since it is Friday, your lessons end now and you can go home. But you are still hungry and so your first stop is the school’s cantina. Normally you don’t spend much money on the cantina food. It is expensive and not even tasty. But this time you take a full meal including salt and dessert. It helps surprising well and you can now focus on something again without getting a headache.

The way home is not really eventful. It seems none of the bullies or bitches is interested in annoying somebody on your way today. Happy but still troubled with what has happened today, you arrive at your apartment. But as you want to search for your keys, you see that you are not alone. Somebody is waiting for you.
