You are marched into some sort of TV interview

You are **** into a seat, and the sack is removed. You are sitting in a comfortable armchair across from a young man, probably in his late 20s, wearing a smart suit. A camera crew is filming you both from the other end of this large room.

"Welcome back to 'Assholes on Trial', the weekly show where we take two of the most horrible women we can find and make them battle it out to earn their victims' forgiveness and avoid being the one whose life is ruined. Our second woman today is Violet. Violet, I assume you're familiar with the show?"

"What the fuck is going on here?!" You seethe. "This has got to be some sort of sick joke, right?!"

"Oh, okay, Violet must be one of the ten people left in the country who aren't aware of our show and what we do." The man says sarcastically. "Is that right?"

"Well, that means I'm legally bound to go through with this whole spiel, so here we go. Multiple people you have wronged, nominated you to be on this show, and sent in evidence to prove it. Our production team then went to a judge to obtain a punishment licence, which we have obtained. This gives us the legal right to detain you and punish you for your crimes. We have permission to permanently revoke your right to work in any occupation except as a star in hardcore pornography ever again. However to make things more interesting, we pit you up against another woman in the same situation, and say that whoever can earn the most forgiveness from the people they wronged, within three days, will be let off without further punishment. You'll have a dedicated TV crew documenting every moment of your life over the next three days, as you try and convince the people that you've wronged, and our audience at home, that you're truly sorry. Towards the end of the third day, they'll be voting on who they think deserves freedom, and who deserves to be **** into the life of a porn star for the rest of their days."

Can he really be serious? Does the legal system in this world really allow for such riduculous things?!
