You apply to the Foster Program

The city has made homelessness illegal, but rather than sending all the homeless in prison, they implemented a foster program.

Anyone in the city can register themselves as a host on a city website and any homeless person can ask the city to be housed by one of the hosts.

The homeless’ profile is put on the website and all registered host get a notification. If they would accept to host him, they click on a specific button on the website and at the end of the day, the homeless receives the list of the hosts who would accept him.

This person has to choose one of them or he will be considered a voluntary homeless and this being illegal, he would get arrested.

There is always at least one host because the city gives money to people each time they agree to host someone on the website, and more money if they end up really hosting the person, so some people become host for the money.

You decide to register for this program. You enter all your informations on the city website and click post.

You spend the whole day packing up your stuff and at 8 pm you log back in the website to see who your potential hosts are.
