You Want Her to Possess Someone

"Can I watch you possess someone? I never had the chance to actually try it out myself." You ask.

Nodding her head, Carrie grins back at you as she hops off of your bed. Following behind her, the two of you creep through the house until you see your mother at the sink, washing some dishes. "Will your mom work?" Carrie asks.

Whispering back, you answer "Well my sisters won't be home until dinner and my Dad is out of town for the weekend. Business trip."

"Yeah, but I could fly across town and bring someone back." Carrie whispered to you.

"I'm impatient. And curious. So, go on ahead."

Nodding back at you, Carrie sneaks away from you and closer to your mom. Once she gets within arm's reach, you see Carrie gulp as she closes her eyes and runs into your mother's back, disappearing as she makes contact. Seeing your mother shake as she stands up, she grips the counter as she spasms. After what feels like an eternity, she turns back to you and gives a weak thumbs-up before walking over.

"I'm pretty sure I can turn into a ghost and just fly into them, but obviously you can't see both parts of that." Carrie says in your mother's voice. "Oh, and by default, whoever I take over blacks out with no memory. I could leave them aware and awake, making them think they were doing everything during my control or not. Like with you though, your mom is blacked out."

"How exactly did you figure all of that out? You haven't been using it on me right?" You ask, suddenly questioning everything that happened that day.

Shaking her borrowed head, Carrie shouts "No! It's... strange to explain. Every time I use the ring's power, it 'teaches' me something about it. Flashes of images and stuff."
