You Wake Up in the Hotel

You wake in your hotel room around 6.

It’s a nice suite. You splurged and got a full suite apartment near the top of the hotel. If there was ever a day to celebrate, this is it.

You get up out of bed, shower, dress, and put yourself together in the mirror.

You feel fantastic. You have the confidence and relaxation of a man who just got done fucking two gorgeous women. Two women who you know are currently hoping for more.

You spent some time after you woke really trying to remember what the details were that you said with that strange baboon obsessed man, and try as you might, couldn’t really think of a downside, or something to be careful of. So long as you kept your activities between yourself and the women, and not, say, on camera on TV, there is essentially nothing you couldn’t just as easily undo afterwards with another suggestion or persuasion, in almost any situation. The only way for something to go wrong, really, is to do an activity in the presence of someone you couldn’t persuade, and even then part of the wish was that those people would find your actions normal and boring.

With that in mind, you decide to have fun with your new power, and see where it takes you. You have half a mind to get fitted for some nice clothes on the way back, as somehow the idea of being able to persuade women to fall into your lap feels like perhaps you should be dressing in a debonair kind of way for a while. Your current clothes aren’t bad, but surely they don’t have this new lifestyle in mind?

As you exit the elevator into the hotel’s main lobby, you see that the hotel is hosting a business conference for the evening. There are booths lining the large lobby, and leading into different conference rooms on the first few levels. Some sort of consulting technology consortium or some such.

What attracts your attention though isn’t the posterboards, its all of the people. The lobby is packed and bustling, as it seems that the conference is coming to an end for the day. Everyone has dressed up for this event. Most of the men are in business casual blazers and dress shirts (yeah, that’s kind of the look you were thinking of, come to think of it), and women are wearing various mixes between business formal and dance night club dresses.

Living and working in the city, you’ve seen plenty of these types of conferences over the years, so nothing too surprising here. During the day, all business, then after the conference everyone goes out and parties on the town, at least partially on the company’s expense. You realize that sure enough, its happy hour, so it makes sense that everyone is getting a bit more dressed up, ready to go out for the evening, and some of the more sultry dresses are starting to make an appearance.

As you make your way towards the lobby, you find yourself walking slower and slower, and really checking out the people walking by. The people aren’t particularly attractive, most of the people walking by are clearly office workers on a company paid holiday. But this isn’t just a midtown sidewalk, some of these people are walking by in full on ballgowns that cost more than the price of a decent car, and that is surely worth a look.

As you make your way through towards the exit, you see something that does catch your eye, though. In front of one of the booths towards the entrance of the hotel are several women wearing black bodycon dresses. Tight, body hugging dresses that leave nothing to the imagination. And you realize that these are women that one of the companies at the event have hired to catch people’s eyes as they enter the conference.

It worked.

Each of them appears to be running around, and stopping into different rooms, escorting different people, but mostly they just stand in front of the event, occasionally pointing at a sign with a large company logo.

With a confidence that you simply wouldn’t have had 24 hours ago, you walk up to the closest one
