You Waffle

The two of you look at eachother, you hadn't even thought of this before. It felt strange to give up something you'd had for so long but compared to giving up your whole previous identity, what's one more name? But what to go with? You guess losing your maiden name was just one more quintessential female experience you were getting to take part in. Maybe if you played your cards right you could get your name back by marrying Alice. The idea tickled you.

"If you don't care one way or the other then I definitely don't recommend going with something unique, if someone tries to snoop into your background it's good if there are a lot of other Pennys with the same name to pollute the search."

"We could just go with something generic, Smith, Johnson, something like that?" You said without much conviction.

"Oooh, how about Wise! Like that saying. Pound foolish penny wise, that'd fuck up any google search." Alice says excitedly.

She was so excited at the idea and you didn't have anything better.

"You can always change it later if you want, nice to meet you Miss Penny Wise."
