What Do You Want To Do Next?

You Take Chloe Around Town

"I was thinking I'd show you around. You've been cooped up at Hideki, right?" You suggested.

"Really?!" Chloe asked with a massive grin. "You're taking me on a date?!"

"Kinda." You answer. "You wanna go now?"

"Yesyesyes!!" Chloe shouted as her clothes changed to a pair of blue jeans and a white tank top, most certainly through Zoe's ablities. "How does this look?"

"Great." You answered honestly. Having the human-looking version of Chloe parading around with a grin was great.

"Hey." Chloe said abruptly. "I'm not too... Chubby like this, right?" Chloe asked with an eyebrow raided. "Zoe's videos always have-"

"No offense to Kim, but I like them thick." You said with a dirty grin.

"Really?! C-Cause Kim is so fit, and, and thin, and..."

"Kim's also a bitch." You said flatly. "If anything, you're the total opposite of her."

Grinning, Chloe pressed her thighs together before her stomach grumbled. "Logan, can we go now?"

"I'll have the... Pancakes I suppose." You said, handing the menu to the cute waitress. "You decided yet Chloe?"

"Hmm..." Chloe murmured as she stared intently at the menu.

"I can come back, if you need-" The waitress began to say.

"Pancakes, full stack with strawberry syrup. Six strips of bacon. Sausage links, five. Full order of biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns on the side. Orange juice, no pulp. Omelet with extra ham. And... Toast on white?" Chloe ordered with a determined look.

"Uh... Okay." The waitress said before walking away with a very full order sheet.

"Chloe."

"Hm?"

"That's... A lot of food."

"Zoe had a special credit card issued for Hideki employees. You don't have to worry about paying for it." Chloe said with an innocent smile.

"That's reassuring, I guess." You said with a sigh. "Do you usually get this hungry?"

Blushing, Chloe squirmed in her chair. "No, but I have to feed for two now..." Wait. What did she say? Opening your mouth, Chloe furrowed her brow, deep in thought. "Or, three technically."

"What?"

"Hm? Zoe and I get energy from humans. But, it's pretty calorie intensive. So, I have to eat enough to sustain Kim, while having a large enough excess for us." Chloe explained.

"Oh... I thought- Nevermind."

"Okay. This should be enough calories until tonight, if I did the math correctly."

"Until tonight?! This isn't enough for one day?!"

"No." Chloe answered with a head tilt. "I did say we're calorie intensive."

A bit later, you gulped as the table was dangerously overcrowded. And, the table behind Chloe. Comparing Chloe's food to yours was comical, honestly. Grinning as you looked over it, you saw Chloe lift a slice of toast to her mouth, and a green tendril darted out, absorbing it in a second! "Chloe!" You whispered.

"What?"

"Don't-Don't do that! Just chew!"

"But what if I bite my tongue?" Chloe asked. Suddenly, she turned bright red. "You want to do that in public?"

"Do what?

"You know... To make the pain go away..." Chloe said as she squirmed in her chair.

Exhaling, you nodded. "Sure. I'll kiss your tongue if you bite it. Not if you do it on purpose though."

"Okay!" Chloe shouted, lifting up a fork with some pancake on it. Taking one bite, Chloe immediately shouted. "Logannnnnn..." Chloe said with a teary-eyed sniffle.

"That was one bite..."

"I'm not used to chewing, okay?" Chloe said, pleading at you with her eyes.

"How was everything?" The waitress asked.

Lifting your head from the table, you groaned. "Can I have another stack to go?"

"I'm sho shorry Logan!" Chloe apologized as she held her cheek.

"If you don't mind me asking, what exactly was going on out here?"

"I promised my girlfriend I'd kiss her every time she bit her tongue. Every single bite..." You said with a groan. "And then she ate my pancakes because they went cold..."

"Okay then." The waitress said with a strange look on her face. "You can pay at the register, we'll have them there for you."

Getting up from the table, you and Chloe walked to the register, where Chloe used Zoe's card to pay. It was quiet, in an almost unsettling way, until you left the breakfast place, pancakes secured in a take-out box. "I'm your girlfriend?"

"Huh?"

"I'm your..." Chloe sighed as she stumbled on the sidewalk. "Logan's girlfriend..."

"Chloe, there's a pole there." You said right before Chloe walked face first into it. Catching her as she fell back, you sighed. "I'll kiss your forehead, alright?" You said before pecking the growing red mark above her eyebrows with your lips.

"Logan!" Chloe shouted, having been brought back to her senses. "I'm your girlfriend! You said it! You know what that means!!" Chloe shouted. A second later, your right hand was being squeezed by Chloe's left hand as you walked on the sidewalk. "Ho-Holding hands..."

"Chloe, there's another pole."

"Ow!" Chloe shouted as she ran into it. "Logannnnnn!"

Another kiss later, you continued walking until a dreaded third pole stood in front of Chloe, who was once again muttering your name. Knowing full well she wasn't going to move, you simply turned to the left and crossed the street, with Chloe mindlessly following your lead.

"Logan!" Chloe suddenly shouted. "Look at that!!" Standing in a nearby alley was a dog, probably a stray. Before you could say a thing, Chloe dragged you over and bent down, petting the canine. "Poor puppy... He's probably hungry." Chloe said before turning to look at you with a **** stare and a sinister glint in her eye.

"I didn't know dogs like pancakes!" Chloe said as she skipped along, continuing to hold your hand.

"Yeah..."

"Can you believe three others showed up? They must've been really hungry!"

"Y-Yeah..."

"Good thing there was a garbage bin right there too! I wouldn't want to leave that empty box just laying around!"

"..."

"And then that restaurant said they were out of more pancakes! Crazy, right?" You had to hold back tears. The waitress at least gave you a coupon for a free meal. That was the saving grace. "Whoa, it's really windy!" Chloe shouted, just as your grip loosened on the coupon...

"I'm sorry Logan..." Chloe muttered as the two of you sat on the park bench. "This date suck-"

"No it didn't!" You interrupted. "This is really fun!"

"But your pancakes..."

"Huh? Already forgotten." You said with a grin. "And now I get to sit here, next to my cute slimegirl... friend. Slimegirl girlfriend?"

Blushing with a quiet giggle, Chloe leaned her head on your shoulder. "And I get to sit here, next to my handsome Lolo." Breathing deep, Chloe nuzzled closer. "Can we stay here a while? Before we go somewhere else?"

"Well, I was planning on taking you to a movie. There was this one about some dimensional rodeo! But... I'd rather sit here with you instead." You said as you wrapped your arm around Chloe's waist and pulled her closer. "Unless..."

"What?"

"Well, we've got Zoe's card. And, a hotel might be nice. Maybe a water bed..." You said before sighing. "Zoe's not going to get in trouble for that, right?"

"You wanna ask her about it?" Chloe asked with a slight frown. "I'll give her control, here she-" Chloe began before blinking rapidly. "You two are cute, you know that?"

"Thanks. I guess. You're not gonna be fired or something right? I can't imagine the Accounting department of Hideki will be fine with the charges on your card." You said as Zoe chuckled.

"I'm not an employee, remember?" Zoe said with a sly grin. "I'm an experiment. And right now you're using Hideki money to further that experiment. Go wild."

"How exactly is taking Chloe to breakfast furthering that experiment?" You asked as Zoe giggled again.

"Well, Logan. What if Chloe and I can adapt to human society? Fully, I mean." Zoe asked before scowling. "Chloe, I was going to raise my finger..." Zoe mumbled. "Having control over just my head isn't my favorite, gonna be honest." Seeing the non-caring look on your face, Zoe cleared her throat. "Anyway... Imagine the possibilities if people could become hybrids? Of slime, or bandages, or whatever."

"I guess-"

"Medical costs would be non-existent! One, maybe two surgeries to convert a person, and then nothing else! EVER!" Zoe shouted with wild eyes. "And if there was something wrong, or if these people needed maintenance years down the line, Hideki would have the only fix, right?!" Zoe asked with a toothy grin.

"Hideki would make a fortune then." You said as Zoe's eyes sparkled.

"Of course they would! For that, they'd spend some now for-" Zoe began before her eyes flashed a bright green.

"Chloe?" You asked.

"I had to shut her up. People are staring." Chloe whispered. Sure enough, a small crowd was staring, probably wondering why the girl next to you was shouting about Hideki and profits. "Let's go." Chloe said before standing up and dragging you by the arm across the park.

"You alright Chloe?" You asked as Chloe sighed and leaned against a tree.

"I'm fine..." Chloe grumbled. "I just..."

"It ruined the mood?" You asked, seeing Chloe shake her head. "Oh."

"I thought this date was just going to-" Chloe began.

"No more Zoe then. Or Kim." You interrupted with a grin. "Just you and me from now on."

Sighing, Chloe gave a slight smile. "So what is a water bed then?"

"Were you wondering about that since I mentioned it?" You asked. Seeing Chloe nod, you chuckled. "It's just a bed filled with water. Nothing crazy."

"Oh."

"Yeah. It's just different than normal, so it's fun, in a way." You said before your eyes went wide, as you realized the implications of what you had just said. "I didn't-" Chloe tilted her head before she blushed suddenly. "Y-You're..."

"I'm fun?" Chloe asked with a goofy grin. "I'd prefer attractive, but..." Chloe said before pushing off of her the tree and hugging you. "Maybe I feel like a water bed as myself. I am mostly water." Chloe joked before giving you a peck on the cheek.

"Sorry if I offended you, I honestly forgot about... That you're a slimegirl." You said, squeezing Chloe tighter.

"Don't worry about it Lolo." Chloe reassured you as she gripped you tighter as well. "What's our next stop on our date then?"

"Well... Today's all about you. Where you wanna go, we go." You said. "Hell, if you want to go feed more food to stray dogs than we'll do that."

Chloe giggled as she loosened her grip and stepped back. Looking at you with a blushing grin, Chloe sighed contently. "I think..."
