“Don’t feel so hurt Jinx.” I say comfortingly as I sit down on the bed next to her and begin to stroke her still damp pink hair, “I think you look cute. And don’t worry, maybe once you’re training is completely your mistress and I will take you out shopping and buy you something a little more mature. Would you like that?”

Jinx turns her head back towards me and I notice a few little tears rolling down her soft, pale cheek as she nods ‘yes.’

“Good.” I tell her with a smile as I wipe away her tears, “Now lie down on your stomach so I can give you that ointment I promised.”

I fell asleep a half hour later to the pleasant sound of Jinx on the right of me and Raven on the left, both softly cooing in their sleep as they snuggled up to me.
