Yes.
"Very well, ruler of the universe, most powerful sorceress, goddess, empress of the known universe… let’s see how much you’re worth without your magic, your position, and your beauty."
Before Victoria could react, she was already in a different place. And it was a place she knew at least partially! She saw her palace!
The immediate surroundings, however, were unfamiliar to her.
Am I in the slums for the poor beneath my palace?
Either way, she was home. Even without her magic, she was the beloved ruler of all.
But she certainly wasn’t going to ask the common rabble for help. Nor would she admit to the court that she had lost her magic.
She would enter through the secret passage into the palace, and there, with the help of her elixirs, she would regain her powers and take revenge. It was a mistake to let me go, demon!
Her thoughts were interrupted by a sailor stinking of alcohol who was passing by and staring at her insolently. Only when she reached for a handkerchief to cover her delicate nose did she notice what she was wearing.
