"Alright. Let's move."

Both Alexa and Nathan leave her room and head for the elevator. Soon enough they find themselves in the Hotel Bar. As Alexa waves at her bridesmaids, Nathan decides to take a seat next to his father, Kyall.

"So, you sort everything out with your coach?" Kyall asks.

"Yeah." Nathan says, hoping no one else will further prod at his ruse.

"You know if you ever wanna put on the gloves for real, give me a call. Lot less bullshit to deal with." Vinny says, the avid boxer eager for a star pupil. Nathan had already taken a few ventures into his gym but hadn't shown any real interest in pursuing puglism full-time.

"Eh, maybe if things don't work out."

"So you got any offers yet?" Christopher asks.

"A few. Gonna sort through them after the wedding."

Christopher nods. "Where would you like to go?"

"Well, it'd be awesome to play for the Sutton Savages like gramps did."

"Ooh. There's gonna be stiff competition to get in with them."

"Well hopefully."

"What about degrees?"

"Probably do business or something like that."

"Always good to have a back up plan. Plenty of guys get hurt on the field." Aaron said. Truth be told, he saw potential in the young man. He certainly had a lot more drive than Daniel, but

"I'll be sure to keep it in mind."

The conversation then turns back to the wedding. Seeing as that wasn't any of Nathan's concern, he turned his attention to the bridesmaids. Sure, maybe Alexa doesn't want to play, but there's still plenty of players on the field. Melissa seemed a bit uptight, but the Asian American woman still couldn't help but glance at Nathan when she saw him working out at the hotel gym this morning. There was also Astryd, who seemed to be giving Nathan the occasional glance. There were rumors that Bernice was planning on hooking up with Vinny, but Nathan still couldn't help wanting to set the redhead firecracker off. Finally, there was Gillian, the bubbly blonde who was laughing throughout the night.

Once the diner was over, Kyall turned to his son and said "So what you up to now?"

"I don't know. I'm not allowed in the bar right?"

"Ah, just don't order anything. You'll be fine."

"Alright. Guess I'll hang out for a bit."

"Attaboy."

Of course, Nathan didn't intend to stay for long. Not if things went to plan with one of the bridesmaids.
