He investigated their bodies for some loot and found some pretty good stuff including a Bag of Holding, various magical items, and weapons. "Don't mind if I do," he said gleefully as he snatched every undamaged item and tossed everything he could into the Bag of Holding.

Kazex cheerfully pranced his way to the direction of the noise that led him inside the tower while nabbing every item that looked like it could have even a little bit of value.
