Yes. A few in fact.

Mason sent Yumi a text on the way to his first class. Luckily she answered quickly and didn't seem bothered. In fact, the nerdy girl had already been looking at movie times and found one that wouldn't start until about an hour and fifteen minutes after school ended. So a half-hour delay wasn't the end of the world.

Which was a huge relief. It was one less thing in his mind. Which was exactly what Mason needed at that moment. After all, there were plenty of other things he needed to think about. Firstly, because some genius had scheduled a calculus class first thing in the morning. But also because registering Ms. Rosso as a target made him realize something important.

Luxuria had a limited number of target slots. At first, it seemed like he had plenty. But after less than twenty-four hours he had already registered six women. That was more than a fifth of his capacity taken up already. And Lilith had pointedly not told him what he needed to do to get more slots.

All it took was a few sentences and that was another slot used. Between friends, teachers, parents, his fellow students, neighbors, and strangers he could easily talk to a dozen women a day. If he wasn't careful he would end up with a dozen or so targets that he didn't really care about. With the added nuisance of also not starting with much silver for them. Admittedly 453 silver wasn't none and having the ability to modify his vice-principal also wasn't pointless. Even if he still wasn't sure he would have actively chosen the ex-soldier.

So Mason decided to be careful and settle in for a bit of a quiet day.

Fortunately, it was an easy day for avoiding women. First was calculus with Mr. Alderman. A class that caused his fellow students to fall nearly silent with a combination of focus and desperation.

Then came English with Mrs. Sullivan. She was definitely one of the women Mason didn't want to register. Not that she wasn't nice. It was just that she was so old that her granddaughter actually went to the school with him. More the type of woman he'd want to bake him cookies than try and date. Not that he doubted Lilith's power to eventually make her into a certifiable hottie (Ms. Sullivan was apparently quite the looker in her younger days.) But he didn't really want to try and earn mountains of silver he would need to de-age the sexagenarian, and he really didn't want to think about what exactly he would have to do to earn it. Thankfully, while a decent teacher the elderly woman could be quite long-winded. So as long as the nerdy student didn't ask any questions he would be safe.

After that was AP psychology with Mr. Garvey. Who in addition to being another male was also awesome. He taught several different science classes, including Mason's biology class. He was a middle-aged black man who was a bit like if Neil deGrasse Tyson and Lavar Burton were the same person. He was a great teacher and Mason was glad that he could still participate in that one.

But Mason wasn't just paying attention to his teachers. He also used his first three classes, and the trips between them, to scope out some of his classmates. Despite having plenty of interest in women, the geeky giant had never really considered his fellow student in a sexual way. And it wasn't even that there weren't plenty of beautiful girls to choose from. But they always seemed a bit unattainable. Only a few seemed to actively hate him, but most of them didn't really like him either. So he never saw the point in tormenting himself.

But app in hand, Mason felt a bit less nervous about making amorous plans. And as he did he realized that there really was a practical smorgasbord of potential partners. With a wide variety of cute girls that came in all shapes and sizes.

For instance, there was Dani Bell, walking down the hallway like she owned the place. She was the stereotypical head cheerleader and queen bee. Her confidence probably was mostly derived from her looks. And to be fair she was a gorgeous specimen, with a face like a movie starlet and an hourglass figure. In particular, her wide, bubbly ass had earned her quite a bit of admiration, helped by the fact that she had no qualms about flaunting it. But she was as much thorn as rose. Sure the alluring woman was perfectly nice to your face, toying with her strawberry, blonde hair, and batting her long eyelashes (doubly so if she wanted something from a guy.) But once she was behind your back Dani was ruthless and was quick to cut down anyone she felt was a threat to her place at the top of the social ladder.

Then there was her logical opposite, Lorri Kipling. She wasn't exactly a classic beauty, with her beanpole build, mousy hair, and copious freckles. But she did have lovely green eyes and buckets of raw charisma. She had a nice voice, an infectious smile, and a knack for remembering names. Which was good given that the skinny girl wanted everyone to like her. But that wasn't purely out of philanthropy. Lorri was the president of the student council as well as being in charge of the school newspaper. And she had no intention of stopping there. Because she also had basically bottomless ambitions. In fact, when they were sophomores she and Mason worked on a project together. And she had been eager to explain her life plan that started with going to Harvard and ended with becoming the first female president.

And of course, silently watching them all from the margins was Charlotte Underwood. She was the goth of the senior class with all the required visuals. From her all-black ensembles, to her pale face, to her heavy, dark makeup, to her wild black hair filled with purple and red streaks, she was all emo all the time. Charlotte was known for two things. First, for actually being an albino. But with her love of hair dye and heavy makeup, the only giveaway was her distinctive pink eyes. Second, not having any friends. Even the other goths and burnouts didn't really spend time with her. And third, for having the hands-down biggest tits in the entire school. Even if you included the teachers.

But Mason wasn't really sure if he wanted to register any of them. Dani was very hot, but she was a bully and was especially mean to girls like Yumi. And that was a deal-breaker for him. Lorri seemed nice enough, but her life plan didn't exactly line up with his. Plus she already had a boyfriend, and he didn't really want to be that guy (at least not while there were plenty of single ladies walking around.) And while Charlotte had an interesting aesthetic (who didn't like goth girls) he knew almost nothing about her as a person. And she honestly seemed a bit off, in a way he couldn't quite put his finger on.

So the tall teen decided to leave it in fate's hands. Which might very well actually be Lilith's hands. So Mason didn't approach any of them. And settled on just waiting to see what life brought him next.

And it turned out he only had to wait until lunch.

Well, technically he did have to wait in line for a tray of what was technically food. But after that Mason walked up to his usual table and found a pleasant surprise waiting for him. Two people were already there. Yumi, of course, and another girl.
