Yes, work

I don’t waste any time, I’ve got a plan and I need to get it done quick, I want everything as fast as possible. To start I am going to change my relationship with my company; maybe several other companies too.

When I get to work I enter the lobby and talk to the receptionist, she’s a bit plain but I can’t blame her for that. I ask to show her a magic trick, I write my name on her arm and after making sure she won’t erase it I get to work. I start to write on the wall.

“Theodore's Business and Building, Rules:

1. Employees are allowed to enter and use this building to do their jobs freely provided it violates no other rules. Anyone else who enters will only do so with permission of the owner or company managers and shall act as a courteous guest following all rules.
2. No one will think any of these rules are odd or annoying and will not speak of them without showing them to the other person they are speaking to.
3. No one can erase these rules or Theodore's name and everyone will ensure they do not accidentally do so.
4. As the owner Theodore is allowed to enter any part of it at any time but employees may request privacy which he can give or deny at his leisure, additionally employees and any guest that is asked by Theodore shall allow themselves to be written on if asked.
5. 10% of all profits are to be paid to Theodore and any inquires into his ownership shall invoke rule 2, all former share holder incomes left over after Theodore’s payment shall be split at a ratio of 40/60 between employee bonuses and reinvestment into company growth/efficiency respectively.”

Once I was done writing this I went to test if this information would work over technology, I got the receptionist’s number and texted a picture of the rules to her, she gasped at my new status thanking me for the new bonuses heading her way(and everyone else). Once that was confirmed I had her email a picture of the rules to everyone she could in the company with instructions from me to have it sent to every employee and shareholder so no one would ask questions like “why am I not being paid any more dividends?”

Enough money to see me and my mom well off for the rest of our lives secured I went to the maintenance department and wrote on each of them one by one. An easy task given they receive most of their work orders by email, allowing me to exploit my new status. After the don’t remove my mark orders, I got them to paint and seal a copy of my rules on every floor of the building to ensure my ownership by their(my) hands.
