Yes, lets interview the secretary and the boss

Monday morning and you head into the office around 10. You don’t actually have to be there, you’re still on sick leave in theory, so you don’t mind being a bit late. You call Clara in advance and arrive with doughnuts on coffee.

“You are a babe” She says as she sees you, jumping out of her cubicle grabbing the coffee in one hand and lifting the lid of the doughnut box in the other to make her choice.

“How are you still single?” She asks as she picks up a cream glazed ring and bites into it while walking back to her cubicle.

You try not to admire her behind too much as she walks away. She’s meant to be like your mother but her new confidence is goddamn sexy.

The chief’s shutters are down around his glass cubicle. Carmen is not at her desk. Its a bit early for it you would have though. Then you hear the chief on the phone. “No love, I’ll be back tonight, I’ll speak later” figuring that means he’s free, you knock once and enter.

The chief is putting down the phone, but Carmen is knelt between his legs working him. Clearly while he was talking to his wife, Carmen was using her mouth for other things. You turn and walk out immediately.

You head back to your desk and bother yourself with paper work. The dreaded email comes as you expected.

“Come to my office” Chief Vincent.

You walk in and you can feel his anger as you close the door behind you.

“Did they teach you nothing at the academy?” He starts. “You walk into a superiors office without his consent, who the fuck do you think you are?” The tirade continues. Other highlights include him wishing it was you in the hospital bed and not Gonzalez. At least on that point you agree. He is getting more and more worked up as he continues without any sign of letting up.

You unzip.

He stops.

Wait has it actually worked? Yep, there’s the look. You guess the chief is so stupid it just took half a second to know what is going.

“Message Carmen, tell her to come in” you tell him
