Deciding that, as much as she wanted to stay and fight along side her sisters, Shade knew that their position would be overrun shortly and if she were to fall with her squad, others would follow. So, with a heavy heart, she prepared herself to start retreating from the barrier. Looking to her CO, she sent her a nod, acknowledged the order, and she received one in return.

"Covering fire!" was ordered by Shade's CO and the clones fighting all started blasting droids approaching their position. With all their attention on them, the medic was given her opportunity and began sprinting away from the fighting as fast as her legs were able to go in the armor. She struggled to keep on running as she heard her comrades fall one by one, but she understood that if she stopped, it would have been for nothing.

After sprinting as fast as she could for several minutes, Shade came to a slow stop to catch her breath. Reaching up, she pulled her helmet off her head and leaned down as she took in deep breaths to refill her lungs with air, beads of sweat running down her forehead, dripping from her chin.

While she was taking a moment to regain her breath, Shade turned back to where she was fighting just moments ago, becoming horrified by what she was witnessing. Her sisters had all been defeated,the droids having overrun their position a short while ago. Where they were once fighting behind a barrier, holding back the droid forces, the clones were now rounded up in a line, stunned and were being stripped by the Separatist forces before being loading into Multi- **** Transports.

Among her sisters, she could see several being dragged away from the rest, her squad leader included. The droids were most likely looking to extract whatever information they could from them before sending them away for slavery. As she watched, Shade could hear their screams and cries as the droids performed whatever means of **** on her friends. Knowing there was nothing she could have done to help them, she quickly put her helmet back on, gathered what strength she had recovered and started running to rejoin the main ****.
