Soon as they gathered all the paper work, and gotten all their shots that they needed to travel to Africa. Jane was in her room packing for the three months of summer; since she is only packing a suitcase that include her clothes, and a backpack that has her sketch books and pencils. Once she was done packing; Jane hears a knock on her bedroom door, and she hears one of the maids informing her that her father wants to see her in his office. "You wanted to see me daddy? Oh, sorry I thought my father was in the room? My name is Jane Porter, hi how are you." This tall muscular man just smile and shook my hand, and then the door opened. "Ah Jane my dear, I am glad you're here. I like you to meet William Cecil Clayton, he is our tour guide when we go to Africa. He will be helping us find the gorillas, and he will be keeping us safe as we explore the African jungles." Jane been polite; she shook his hand and greeted him with a smile, and then she turned to her father and informed him that she just finished packing her things. "I wanted to inform you that I'm finished packing and all my stuff is ready for tomorrow, daddy is there anything you like me to pack for you or do you have it all set up?" "No thank you my dear Jane; I have that covered, and I wanted you to meet Mr Clayton here. Since he's going to be with us through our whole entire trip of Africa, I thought this will be a great idea for you to meet new people, and think about a potential Suitor." "Daddy no, this is not the time, nor the place for that." As she turned away for embarrassment, and not looking directly at Mr Clayton as he's staring at her. "Well this is awkward, and since you believe we're living in old times where the father chooses the husband for the daughter. I can choose my own Suitor; thank you very much, now would you excuse me, Daddy I have other things to worry about. I'm going to leave now." As she exits his office, she notice Clayton checking her out as she leaves the room. She starts to feel like she is a wounded prey, and he was going for the kill. Once Jane left the room, Clayton turns to the Professor. "She is quite a lady if you don't mind me asking myself, and are you sure this is a good idea? Don't get me wrong, I do want the job, and I am looking forward to it. But I just want to make sure that my qualifications is what you are looking for, and my payment is acceptable since I will be with you, and your daughter for three months." As Clayton looks him in the eyes, and has a sincere look on his face while the professor is looking through the paperwork of his proposal of terms and agreements. "Yes, this is all acceptable and I am signing right now to inform you that we need you very much, and I will say welcome aboard. I do hope my daughter won't be too much trouble for you, Mr. Clayton."
