Chapter 34
by
The-Drunken-Bandit
I throw open the doors and was met with...
Yelling, Flying books, and Magic. Oh, My...
Before I go into detail about complete and total dumpster fire that my previously untouched study has become.
I feel that it is necessary that I described to you what you originally looked like before it was destroyed by my nighttime visitors.
Originally the study had six different replica suits of medieval armor. They were originally spaced out throughout the entire room, two were near the main entrance to the room, two were placed in the gaps between the studies bookcases which line the left and right walls, and finally the last two should be standing at the far end of the room filling in the empty areas between the three windows of the study.
Along with the replica suits of armor the study also contained a multitude of different books, some these books ranged from magazines like national geographic, science today, and so on. Other's were classic novel's like sherlock holmes, lord of the rings, and war of the worlds. The rest were some of the newer book series like harry potter, percy Jackson, and the hunger games.
With these books also came both my writing desk and my drawing desk, normally I use these two desks to either design or draw concepts for my games. I usually kept a business computer on my writing desk as well as a printer. My drawing desk was mainly littered with in progress designs or random doodles that I do in my spare time.
On both desks there are several diecast statues or figurines of many famous characters throughout the video gaming industry. I am a bit video game nerd, but I also collected them because I use them as points of reference when it comes to drawing.
All this combined with the red painted walls and deep brown trim gave the room a sense of warmth.
Now that I’ve given you a proper mental image of what the room should look like me tell you what it currently looks like.
Starting off three of the six replica armors have been destroyed and their parts are scattered all over the hardwood floor of the study.
Then there are the books, which now lie on the floor many of which are either burnt, wet, currently on fire, or somehow were around flying with little bird wings attached to them.
Finally! There are my two desks, one of which (my drawing desk) was knocked over and laid on its side. the other (my writing desk) with my computer and printer stood untouched. Thing is I could see a mop of lavender colored curly hair sticking out just barely from my overturned drawing desk.
In the center of all of this was a three-way argument between Star, Eclipsa, and Moon.
“Mom! I don’t even know who this is, but she can’t be as bad as you’re saying she is!” Star argued at her mother.
I could tell that this was the post second season version of star. I can safely assume this because of the appearance of her wand as it retains the season three configuration. And also because she does not seem to know who Eclipsa is.
As for star herself she came exactly as order described her, standing at a short 5’2, hourglass shaped body with a heart-shaped face and heart shaped marks on her cheeks with long fluffy blonde hair that reached down to her knees. She stood there in between her mother and Eclipsa dressed in one of her usual outfits that’s been seen on the show.
A sea green short sleeved dress with a white collar, white lace on the sleeves and skirt and a cute cartoon pink octopus on the front. She also wears pink and orange leggings, dark magenta boots with a rhino design, one of the first outfits she wore on earth I believe.
“Star you don’t understand! That woman is extremely dangerous and was locked up for a very good reason!” Moon argued back to her daughter.
I don’t know which version of moon this is mainly because she never really changed her outfit throughout the seasons up until the very end, but I could tell that this is the second time she’s encountered Eclipsa from how badly she’s reacting to her.
This moon was also just like the order described, as she stood at 5’7 with an hourglass shape body just like her daughter. She also had a heart-shaped face and had facial markings on her cheeks just like her daughter, except for the fact that were star had hearts she had diamonds. That and she had less chub on her cheeks, giving her more refined and mature look than her daughter.
She was dressed up in her usual royal outfit of a light blue, periwinkle, and white gown, the skirt somewhat resembling the shape of a heart, with long blue gloves. Her crown rested on the top of her head and had a gold diamond-shaped attachment with a purple diamond in the center, from which two strings of pearls curl around the sides of her hair that reveal her ears that have two gold diamond-shaped earrings with purple diamonds embedded in them.
“My, my so rude Moon. All I did was help you with a spell at your request and you think of me as some kind of abomination.” Eclipsa responded to Moon’s argument with Star in a slightly teasing and chiding tone. Unlike moon and star however the wall behind her had a bunch of holes in it and some of the book cases had fallen apart with their contents strewn about the floor.
Okay now, so this must be the version of Eclipsa that just escaped from her crystal prison. She looks very different from her TV version thanks to the mods. I mean overall, she looks just like she did in the cartoon, but her body’s proportions look completely different. She still retains the same short stature of 5’3 and still has the same red spade cheek marks on her pale skinned diamond-shaped face, topped by her poofy teal hair.
Though again it’s her body that makes the biggest difference as I can see her E cup breasts and her large rear combined with her hourglass shape body cause’s her to look completely different from her well… let’s just say less “blessed” cartoon counterpart.
She wears a long, dark purple Gothic-themed dress, a large black sun hat with gray and white feathers and a thorny branch, a white cravat with a blue crescent moon on it, long mauve gloves that reach up to her elbows, and black flats with pale purple socks.
“Quiet, you! Star you don’t understand! Eclipsa abandoned Mewni and- “
“-And it doesn’t matter now because you three are destroying my HOME!” I announced loudly cutting Moon off.
My presence now known, the three turned to face me.
You know normally when I meet stranger’s I tend to stutter and become so nervous that I tend to forget what I’m trying to say. Now however my anger and frustration right now is completely overriding my social anxiety.
Star was the first of the girls to actually take a quick look around and quickly began to realize where she was. Star could only begin to chuckle quite nervously as she realized the extent of the damage that they had caused.
“Oops?”
Eclipsa and Moon quickly followed as they also began to take in the extent of the damage done to my home.
“Oh, I’m so sorry for all this dear!” Eclipsa quickly responded as she began to look apologetic at the damage the three had caused.
Moon on the other hand was not as shocked, she did look a tiny bit ashamed and apologetic. She soon clear her throat and walk towards me slightly.
“I do also apologize for the damages Mister…?” Moon Trialed off with a questioning tone.
“Frank, you can call me Frank.”
“Well Frank as I said before I apologize for the damage’s that we have incurred to you home. However, do not concern yourself, we can fix this problem and- “
“-Leave? Lady I don’t even know how you even got into my home! Let alone how you did it without setting off the alarm system!” I rudely cut her off.
Slightly angered by my rudeness Moon was about to chastise me for my impertinence, however Star chose this moment to intervene.
“We don’t know!” Star quickly announced before her mother had the chance to scold me.
“You don’t know?”
“Yeah, I mean kinda?”
“explain.”
“Me and my mom her were talking in her office about the repair’s need to our kingdom, when out of nowhere this weird portal just shows up and sucks us in before we can even react!” Star explained the best she could even using her arms to accentuate the motion of being sucked in.
“Ok…” I drawled out before turning my attention towards Eclipsa.
“How about you, how did you end up here?”
“I don’t really know darling. One moment I was broken free of a crystal, the next I find myself being sucked in to a portal.” Eclipsa replies with a confused shrug of her shoulders.
“That doesn’t help clear things up at all, what about you the one hiding behind the desk?”
This confused the other three as it seems they thought they were the only ones here, until a loud “Meep!” was heard in response to my question.
Tired and frustrated, I quickly walked over to my overturned desk. Passing by both moon and star who in comparison with my own broad-shouldered height of 5’10 looked tiny.
As I rounded my overturned desk there was Meteora curled up into a little ball, who was shaking, no cowering really at the sight of me.
I sighed to myself as I pinched the bridge of my nose. Just taking one look at her I realize that there’s no way I’d getting answers out of her if I was as rude with her as I was with the others.
I can’t help, but feel not only pity, but also guilt. The Meteora of from the cartoon was a very damaged being. She was essentially disinherited and kicked out of her own home by her asshole of a stepdad. She was then left to be poorly raised by a cold unfeeling mechanical robot that **** her to suppress her most natural traits and to feel ashamed of them.
All this combined into a very sad story of a girl with severe abandonment issues, severe perfection issues, and **** hatred for all those who had what she did not.
So when I say I feel a little guilty, I say this because I have unfortunately created another sad and lonely child that needs help on stupid whim. I can’t help feeling responsible for her.
So, I’m going to damn well try my best to do what I can for her.
I crouched down so that I can meet her own eyes with mine and try to give her the most nonthreatening look I can. (Which for me is going to be hard, because I have a natural resting bitch face)
As I look at her, I can see what she gets from her mother, she retains the same diamond-shaped face as Eclipsa, along with pale skin and her short poofy hair.
However, I can see the differences that she gets from her father. Her hair for example is a lavender color and her eyes are silted like a cat’s and are magenta in color and there's the fact she doesn't seem to have cheek marks.
Right now her face is one of complete and utter terror. I need to be careful about how I approach this, damn my social inexperience.
“Hey, are you okay?” I asked softly to help reassure and calm her nerves.
She could only stutter out a quiet response.
“I-is i-it-t ov-over?”
“Yeah I think so. Isn’t that right?” I say as I break eye contact with her for a second to look at the other three. I see Moon is still glaring at a blissfully uncaring Eclipsa to instead has opted to have a look of care and concern, as well as guilt that she’s also sharing along with Star.
Star breaks off her look at me and instead looks at her mother who stops her glaring. The two seem to be having a silent conversation of some kind before Moon eventually just sighs and looks directly back at me.
“Yes, we’re not going to be fighting anymore it’s safe for you to come out.”
Moon’s words seemed to calm meteor down slightly. It seems she may be calm enough to give us her name.
“See is no more fighting. Here let me help you up miss?” I questioned as I slowly stick my hand out for her to grab.
She hesitates for second before slowly grasping my hand.
“H-Heinous, H-Heinous Olga.” She stutters out slightly as I left her back up on her feet. Is this point I’m starting to really think that every female in the butterfly family has a genetic inclination to a hourglass body shape to them. As now Meteora comes into full view of me and I have to say she looks a lot like Alice from Alice in Wonderland in her pink and white outfit. It seems to be a cross between a ball gown and an old Victorian maid uniform with a small pink flower on the front of it. I can see that her shoes are a purple set of slippers that look worn down.
As she was now fully standing in plain view of the others, I looked over to gauge their reactions. From what I can see their reactions range from caring (Moon), shocked curiosity (Star), and odd familiarity (Eclipsa).
“Well uh… it’s good to meet you, my name is Frank and I’m the owner of this house.” I say as I am not exactly used to doing something like this and don’t exactly know how to react to this.
“H-Hello-o.” she stutters out and before she could say anything else-
“HI! My name is-!”
“Eep!”
Star pops out of no where and scares the daylights out of Meteora.
Meteora immediately circles around me and hides behind my wide frame in response to Star’s… enthusiastic introduction.
“Star! The poor girl is already terrified enough leave her alone!” Moon chides her daughter.
Star could only wince, before apologizing.
“Sorry!”
Meteora didn’t respond instead favoring to grip the back of my shirt tightly.
I could only sigh and try to salvage the situation.
“Star, is it? Could you back away a little bit?”
Star did as I asked and backed away with a guilty look on her face. With that done I turned my attention to Moon, and Eclipsa.
“Look I don’t know what’s going on, but I just want to know is when are y’all leaving?” I ask frustrated, but I already know the answer to that question. As Moon’s next response confirms it.
Because as soon as I asked, I could see her suck in a breath through her teeth as she could not or would not meet me in the eye’s.
“Don’t tell me you cant leave, because you don’t have dimensional scissors right?”
This guess of mine quickly makes all of them look at me in shock.
“How do you know about-“
“-Dimensional scissors? It’s a long story Misses Moon “the Undaunted” one that I am willing to share in the morning.”
My response makes both Moon and Star look even more shocked as the were not expecting that response from me.
Eclipsa who up to this point been silently watching Meteora cower behind me with a strange look of surprise and familiarity, decide to speak up.
“Why, wait? You could just tell us right now?”
“Because it’s late and im going to have to work all day tomorrow to rebuild anything you may have destroyed.”
The 3 of them did not seem satisfied with my answer and looked like they wanted to argue. I raised my hand to cut them off, before they could argue.
“Look, I know you have your questions. I understand that some of you are concerned (Moon), Scared (Meteora), or just curious (Star and Eclipsa), but I have a job to do in the morning. I promise I will explain everything in the morning, you can stay in one of my homes many spare bed-rooms in the mean-time, ok?”
This did not sit well with them I could tell, but it seems that they agreed to wait till the morning.
I lead each of them to empty guest rooms in the east wing of the house opposite to where I stayed which was the west wing of the mansion.
Moon wanted to stay close to Star, so she had a room right next her’s which was on the right side of the hall. As for Eclipsa and Meteora? Well Eclipsa stayed in the east wing of the mansion on the left side of the hall opposite to Star and Moon. Meteora on the other hand wanted to stay near me for some reason.
I did ask why not stay with the other’s and she explained she did not feel safe around the other’s, to which I can understand. I mean Moon and Star on their own near destroyed my entire study and she was in the middle of all that, so naturally anybody would be afraid of a person that can literally bring inanimate objects to life to fight for them. That and for some reason Eclipsa was freaking her out.
So now as I lay my head down I have to think to myself…
What do i tell them?
